Cryder Point C R Y D E R P O I N T Quality of Life Committee Needs Your Opinion APRIL 10 The Cryder Point Quality of Life Committee held an Art Show for the community’s children and hosted an information session on estate planning, and we’re pleased that both events were very successful. Our next event is the Easter Egg Hunt on March 23. We anticipate a great time for children, parents, grandparents and residents! There are other activities that have been suggested, but we need Cryder Point residents to give us some input of what they may want the Committee to plan. Among the events being considered: • Flea market in the fall. Tables would be available for a cost of $10 -$20 (sharing would be permitted). • Dinner Cruise • Day Trips, e.g., a bus to a nearby casino, Woodbury Commons, Bethpage Historical Buildings, NY Botanical Gardens, Amish Country, etc. • Book Club • Halloween Parade/Contest (this would include children as well as adults) • Game Night, such as bowling • Guest Speakers • Weight Watcher meetings • Holiday activities These are just a few of the activities being discussed. Please let us know what you think of these ideas, and if you have any additional suggestions, please drop them in the suggestion box in your lobby, let us know on the website at www.cryderpoint.com, or leave them with the Concierge addressed to Irene Burns, Committee Chair. WE WANT & NEED YOUR FEEDBACK!!! 10 cryder point courier courier | APRIL 2013 | WWW.QUEENSCOURIER.COM
