Happy Spring, everyone! Okay, so I’m jumping the gun a little, but I’ll bet you’re anxious for warmer weather too. I’m not only happy that spring is coming soon, I’m also happy that many shareholders have asked for the return of the Quality of Life Committee. This was one of the most active committees in the community, whose overarching goal was to enhance our lives here at Cryder. It was also behind some really fun activities…some of you may remember the kids’ Easter egg hunt or the painting contest that everyone enjoyed. Eileen Egan-Annechino has volunteered to be Board liaison to the revitalized committee and has set a date for the first meeting, Wednesday, March 16. Check out the flyer inside, which has also been posted around the buildings, for the details. All of us are looking forward to seeing the committee’s ideas and initiatives for the near and long-term future. The FiOS bundle proposal survey that was recently conducted generated an outstanding response with well over 150 surveys returned. Thanks to you all--your input is extremely informative and will go a really long way as we negotiate with Verizon--to paraphrase Don Corleone, they made us an offer we could refuse, and so now it’s time to go back to the table. Stay tuned as talks move forward. Finally, seawall work is progressing as weather permits (for example, no cement pouring when it’s less than 40 degrees). At this time, there are no significant updates to report.
