A Happy, Healthy 2016 to All! C R Y D E R P O I N T JANUARY13 It was a really nice turnout for Cryder Point’s Annual New Year’s Brunch on Sunday, January 3rd. About 75 folks showed up for a spread of bagels, bialys, lox, assorted cream cheeses and a variety of cookies and pastries. Adequate seating had been a problem in the past, so new chairs were purchased in anticipation of the gathering and arrived just in time. Speaking of time, the event was scheduled to run from 12noon until 2pm, but the big Jets-Bills game lured some people away a little early. But not so early that they didn’t get to enjoy some time with friends and neighbors and wish each other a Happy New Year. Condolences go out to all Jets fans, but special thanks go to Richard Greenbaum for ordering the food, picking it up and setting up the room. What a huge help--and Richard, you are super organized! Shout-outs also go to Loy Lassman for bringing an obscenely large box of chocolates for all to share, and it didn’t take long for people to dig into Marygrace Farruggia’s delicious homemade coffee cake.
