Purse theft at
the goop Lab
A man is wanted for an alleged theft
at the goop Lab, at 25 Bond St., on
Thursday, Jan. 30, according to offi -
cials.
Around 5:15 p.m., a female employee
discovered store merchandise
was missing and contacted the police.
An investigation found that earlier that
day, around 3:52 p.m., an unknown
man entered and allegedly took a purse
worth around $23,000.
He then fl ed west toward Lafayette
Street.

East Vil. burglar
A woman returned to her East Village
apartment on Saturday, Feb. 1, to
fi nd it had been burglarized, according
to police.
The woman, 24, came home near
Second Avenue and East 12 St., and discovered
the bedroom window opened.
An investigation found that someone
entered the apartment through the
window, by the fi re escape, police said.
Once inside, he allegedly took electronics
and jewelry, before fl eeing in an
unknown direction.

Union Sq. creep
There was a groping incident inside
the Union Square subway station on
Tuesday, Feb. 11, police said.
Around 12:25 p.m., on the mezzanine
level, a woman, 52, was walking
in the station when a man allegedly
grabbed her midsection through her
clothing.
The man then fl ed to the street, in an
unknown direction.

Evening heist
at the bank
A man is wanted in connection with
a bank robbery on Feb. 4 around 6
p.m., police said.
The man entered a TD Bank at 469
Seventh Ave. and allegedly showed a
demand note to a teller, while making
a threatening demand for cash, offi cials
said.
The teller complied and the thief fl ed
with $500, and was last seen going
south on Seventh Avenue.

Groper grabs
teen at Penn
Police said there was a forcible touching
incident inside the 34th Street-Penn
Station subway, on Monday, Jan. 13.
Around 7:27 a.m., a 16-year-old
male was walking through the station
at an A train passage way, when a man
allegedly grabbed his buttocks, then
fl ed in an unknown direction.

Bicycle thief
on West 30th
There was a bicycle theft in front
of 526 W. 30 St. on Thursday, Jan. 30
around 6 p.m., according to offi cials.
A man told police he left his bicycle
locked to a metal post on the sidewalk,
and when he returned, the bike and
bike lock were gone.
The bike had been rented from a bicycle
shop and was valued at $750, with
the lock valued at $50, offi cials said.

Drunk driver bust
on West Side
A woman was arrested for drunk
driving during the early morning hours
of Saturday, Feb. 1, according to police.
Near West 40 Street and 11th Avenue,
a woman, 32, was stopped by police
for tinted windows, offi cials said.
An allegedly strong odor of alcohol was
found on the woman’s breath, police
said, and she allegedly had watery eyes,
was slurring speech and was unsteady
on her feet.
Breath tests were refused and the
woman was arrested for driving while
intoxicated.

Hungry burglar at Midtown eatery

Cops are looking for a crook
who broke into a Manhattan
restaurant and fl ed with electronics.
According to police, at 11 a.m. on
Jan. 20, a 38-year-old employee at
Ajisai Japanese Fusion, located at 795
Lexington Ave., noticed that property
was missing and contacted police.
An investigation found that at 11
p.m. the night before, an unknown
man was seen forcibly entering the
location though a secured front door.
Once inside, the suspect took
electronics valued at $3,300. The
crook then fl ed the scene to parts unknown.
The NYPD released surveillance
footage of the suspect taken during
the incident.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic
man between the ages of 30
and 40 years old.
He was last seen wearing all dark
clothing.

Jersey man killed in FDR Drive crash

A 67-year-old New Jersey man died of his injuries on Monday morning
when he crashed his car in Manhattan.
Authorities say that at 7:22 a.m. on Feb. 10, the NYPD responded
to a 911 call regarding a single motor vehicle collision along the northbound
FDR Drive near East 26th Street. Upon their arrival, offi cers found Harbhajan
Singh, of Carteret, New Jersey, in the driver’s seat of a 2015 Toyota Camry,
unconscious and unresponsive.
An investigation found that as he was driving, Singh suffered a medical episode
of some kind, causing him to fail to properly navigate the roadway. The
car, which was in the left lane, then struck the center median thereat before
coming to a stop. No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
EMS rushed Singh to NYU Langone Medical Center, where he was pronounced
dead.
