West Indies hard-hitting batsman
Shimron Hetmyer and fast bowler Sheldon
Cottrel have been awarded milliondollar
deals for next year’s Indian Premier

However there was disappointment for
2016 World Cup hero Carlos Braithwaite

Guyanese Hetmyer was picked up by

Punjab for US$1.2 million.
Both players were members of the
West Indies side in the three-match series
against host India recently.
Braithwaite, however, was by-passed
by the eight franchises after entering
the auction at a base price of US$70,000.
