Embellished in the deep roots of
history in sonically-pleasing reggae
music, Etana releases a new single,
“Bubble.”
Throughout the song, Etana
croons over the joy of new-found
love with the man of her dreams,
which blends in perfectly with the
classic sounds of reggae produced by
TJ Records.
“The Billboard-topping and Grammy
award-nominated singer showcases
her vast vocal range with intricate
harmonies, which gives “Bubble”
feelings of bliss,” Marie Driven,
the Brooklyn-based Haitian American
entertainment guru, told Caribbean
Life on Wednesday.
“With much joy and love, Etana
curated this latest single in hopes
of invoking new love during this
COVID-19 pandemic,” added Driven,
managing partner of PlaybookMG,
an entertainment company.
While recording “Bubble,” Etana
said: “During this tough time in
the world, we need love to heal our
hearts.
“Hopefully, newfound lovers can
start budding from the soothing roots
of my new single,” she said. “From
the whimsical tunes and cheery lyrics,
the ideas of love are prevalent,
and I hope listeners feel the love radiate
from the lyrics.”
Etana returned to music after
her highly-acclaimed album, Reggae
Forever, which was released in
March 2018 and distributed by Tad’s
Records.

Antigua and Barbuda Minister of
Culture and the Arts, Daryll Matthew
said on May 21 that the twin-island
nation’s music community has lost “a
great musician” in the passing of Eric
Peters.
Matthew said Peters’ body was discovered
in the afternoon of May 20 in
his Browne’s Avenue home in Antigua,
“with the cause of death unknown.”
The minister said Peters was “passionate
about the artform,” stating that
his life was “dedicated to the continued
development of music.”
