Wedding bells recently
rang out for actress Keisha
Knight Pulliam, who married
her fiance, fellow actor Brad
James in an intimate ceremony
at their home in Atlanta.
The former Cosby child star
posted on social media, “Last
week my life forever changed.
I married my best friend at
our home surrounded by family
and it was magical!” The
newlyweds met in 2019 on the
set of the TV movie “Pride and
Prejudice: Atlanta.” This is
the second marriage for Pulliam,
who shares daughter,
Ella, 4 with her ex-husband,
former NFL player Ed Hartwell.

is now serving up a Fierce
Female Fall! Continuing her
quest to conquer the global
pandemic through her singing,
acting, song writing and
poetry, Derry is producing,
directing and performing in
“Tangled Up In Strings,” A
Survival Celebration Concert
on Oct. 11, 2021. Using a
$5,000 grant from New York
City Artist Corps, Derry is
presenting this afternoon of
live music and poetry outdoors
on the Green on Broadway
between 35th & 36th
Streets in midtown NYC. at
3 pm. If it rains, the performance

will be moved inside to
the Tank’s theater space at
312 W. 36th Street between
8th & 9th avenues. Looking
forward to showcasing her
fellow performers in this concert,
Derry says, “It will be
nice to pay my friends for

Catwalk for Charity
announced actress, talk-show
host, author and reality TV
star, Garcelle Beauvais will be
the 2021 “Fashion Meets Philanthropy”
Award Recipient of
this year’s Catwalk for Charity
Brunch & Fashion Show. The
7th annual charity event will
take place on Sunday, Oct. 24,
2021 at the Ritz Carlton Key
Biscayne in Miami, Florida
from noon – 4 pm and will feature
a stunning runway show
by Los Angeles based fashion
designer Trang Phung.
Musical entertainment will be
provided by the world-famous
Grammy award winners, the
Gypsy Kings. The event will
benefit children from Miami’s
underserved communities,
and those in abject poverty
in Haiti.

venues like Birdland, B.B.
Kings, and the Jazz Standards,
Roz Nixon understands
the dearth that performing
artists are experiencing after
the March 2020 shutdown
due to the COVID-19 virus.
So she is reprising Roz Live
at The Aloft Hotel, now in its
second season, a Music Series
that will present some of the
top jazz, blues & RIB artists
of our time. Running from
Oct. 13 – Dec. 21, 2021, these
shows will be safely streaming
live from the Aloft in Harlem,
