Shop and Border Town will team up
for a special one-day pop up on Saturday,
Oct. 9 at Egg Shop’s Williamsburg
location (138 N. 8th Street) from 8:30
am – 4 pm. Their collaborative menu
includes Chorizo con Papas y Huevo
Tacos on Border Town’s Sonoranstyle
handmade flour tortillas. ($14
for two). A Brisket Chilaquiles Burrito
with scrambled egg, fried tortillas in
salsa roja, jack cheese, crema, cotija,
pickled onion, cilantro and jalapeño
on a handmade flour tortilla ($15) is
also on the menu along with Veggie
Tacos with soft scrambled eggs, crispy
potato, cilantro, cotija and salsa verde
($13) and $8 Micheladas. A portion of
the proceeds from every pop up menu
purchase will benefit Border Kindness,
a non-profit providing shelter,
food, transportation, and other critical
services to families and individuals
seeking asylum and reunification

Dance announces three free performances
of their newest production, iyouuswe
II (I-You-Us-We-Two), on Oct. 1,
9, and 30, 2021 at Bethesda Fountain,
DUMBO Archway, and the Home of
WHITE WAVE Dance, respectively,
at 5pm EST as part of the City Artist
Corps Grant Initiative. iyouuswe II is
a multi-year collaboration with pioneering
choreographer Young Soon
Kim and composer Marco Cappelli, in
collaboration with their performers,
as they continue to explore the body’s
three dimensions in space. Probing
the weight of human emotions, the
work presents a vividly colored vision
where movement and mise-en-scène
meld seamlessly. During this critical
time of the Covid Pandemic, this piece
challenges us to examine who we are
and how we relate to ourselves and to
each other. It is a story of developing
relationships by which we struggle
to find a sense of ‘i’ as part of a ‘we.’

10K/5K/Kiddie Run For close to
40 years, this event has been a much
heralded race to visit the historic
neighborhood of Bedford Stuyvesant,

event is part of the BedStuy Alive
weekend of events, including Restora-
