Dr. Chanelle Small
received her Certificate of
Endodontics from the Tufts
University School of Dental
Medicine in Boston, MA and both her
Doctor of Dental Surgery and her
undergraduate degree from Howard
University in Washington, D.C.
She is a former clinical instructor
in the Division of Endodontics at
Columbia University College of
Dental Medicine. She also has
extensive experience in private
practice.
Dr. Small is also a noted researcher
and patient care advocate. Since
2012, she has owned Midtown
Endodontics, a specialty practice
in Midtown Manhattan, with
a “focus on compassionate care,
friendly service and state of the art
technology.”
She says service has always been
“a top priority,” as she participated
in numerous community health
projects in dental school, in
residency and in New York City.
In 2010, Dr. Small participated
in an international service mission
to Haiti, where she provided free
dental care and education.
She is an active member of
the American Association of
Endodontists, the American Dental
Association and National Dental
Association.

the American Dental Association’s
Institute for Diversity in Leadership
program.
Outside of the office, she says she
enjoys family, reading, travel and
fitness, having completed the New
York City Marathon and several half
marathons.
