What are we?
Community High School is a free public charter school opening in
Downtown Brooklyn in the summer of 2022 as part of Beginning
with Children (BwC), a small but mighty network of public K-12
charter schools and a college success program founded in 1992.
Who am I?
My name is Esosa Ogbahon, and I am the founding principal of
Community High School. I was also the founding principal of
Beginning with Children Charter School 2, and have worked the
past 20 years as a teacher and leader in Brooklyn.
What’s next?
At Community High School, we are building upon the successes
of our 30 years in education to create a new and better high
school option. Together, we're moving our community in the right
direction.
