Last week, the Barbuda Civic Association held a book reading of ‘Five of The Leewards: 1834-1870’ by Douglas Hall. The book was read by Dr. Natasha Lightfoot and Beverly George. A Q&A
was held following the reading.
DISTRICT COUNCIL OF CARPENTERS HOLDS TURKEY, FOOD DRIVE
The NYC District Council of Carpenters, in partnership with Assemblyman Marcos Crespo and Councilman Rafael Salamanca,
delivered turkeys to the community on Monday, November 25. NYC DCC’s donation totalled $100,000 in food and goods.
