Hope everyone had a
great Thanksgiving!
Thanks to Theo’s
Elves & Elvettes for
bringing some cheer to
the VA Hospital as we
have been doing for so
many years.
Saturday, December
7 is the annual Silver
Beach Post Pearl
Harbor Rememberance
Ceremony at Bicentennial
Veterans Memorial
Park, 11a.m., collation
at Bronxonia to follow.
Parties are great but
we have to try to get to
these important ceremonies
too.
Remember, Tuesday,
December 17, third Sunday,
is our regular Post
253 meeting, 11 a.m. to
noon at ATNY, followed
by our annual holiday
celebration. All Post 253
Legion Family members
are invited and
may bring a guest.
Some news just in:
SAL Detachment of NY
has exceeded 30 thousand
members, that’s
over 91% of goal.
Sick call: Hope our
members PPC Joe and
Angelo are recovering
and will be able to enjoy
the holiday season.
PCC Bill Damson is ok,
but recovering too, says
hi to all.
Until next time: Remember
our PPC Joe
Mazzariello Christmas
Toy Drive and other activities
in your neighborhood
this holiday
season. Others need our
help, we’ll be there.
