Auto is a meet with Cardinal

Cardinal Spellman kicked
off their second game of the
season against a fi red up Stan’s
Sports Bar. Cardinal Spellman
was down 3-1 in the half with
the only goal scored by Christopher
Crowe (2-Goals), who
then opened the second half

The offensive attack in the second

to end the game in a 3-3
tie, Ryan Picard (1-Goal) had
an amazing goal which was
shot from the 18 yard box.
Overall great team effort in a
tough played game!
GIRLS MAJORS
A beautiful day to play
soccer, unfortunately both
teams came up short on players,
so the game was played
9-9 which puts pressure on every
player out there running
a full 70 minutes end to end.
The girls who played did not
disappoint. Michael Anthony
opened the scoring early and
quickly went up 4-0. Danielle
Brown got All Time Detection
on the board when she
took a lead pass from Adriana
Leone blasting a left foot
past the Micheal Anthony
goalie. Micheal Anthony
would get one more goal putting
them up 5-1 at the half.
Victoria Guliano made up for
the lack of players as she was
running end to end trying to
keep the ball away from Michael
Anthony. Cecelia Porter
was a stopper on defense
and thwarted more than one
Michael Anthony rush. Midway
through the half, Danielle
Brown made a beautiful
cross from the left sideline
fi nding the foot of Adriana
Leone who placed the ball
perfectly past the goalkeeper.
Adriana would fi nd herself
in front of the goal one more
time off a defl ection in front,
she redirected the ball into
the net getting All Time Detection
within 2 goals but Micheal
Anthony would not be
stopped on this day, taking
the match 6-3.
Both teams were missing
a number of key players. 6-3
battle with Michael Anthony
hair lounge edging out All
time Detection. Ava Shkreli
started with a breakaway
down the left wing with a one
on one with the goalie and
with some fancy foot work was
able to get the ball to the back
of the net. Gabby Dinino took
a beautiful shot from 35 yards
out to the upper left corner of
the goal way out of reach for
All Time Detection’s goalie.
Kailey Siegmund fought her
way through the defense and
scored a goal. All Time Detection
came back to score one of
their own. Goalie, Victoria
Costanzo who never played
goal before made a number of
really good saves but wasn’t
able to stop them all. All
Time Detection came back
to make it 3 to 1. Just before
halftime Kailey Siegmund
came back to score again ending
halftime with Michael
Anthony 4 and All Time Detection
1. Second half, Jamie
Kibler came out fast scoring
the 5th goal for Michael Anthony.
All Time Detection
wasn’t going anywhere and
came back with 2 more goals
making it 5 to 3. Kailey Siegmund
decided she wasn’t fi nished
scoring yet again earning
herself a hat trick to end
the game 6 to 3. Other strong
players for Michael Anthony
were Julianna Rachiele, and
Abigail Harkins on defense,
and on offense were Abigail
Mathews and Sophia Ryan.
