 40th Precinct 
 It was reported to police that on Friday, July  
 24  at  7:30  a.m.,  an  unidentified  man  used  a  
 credit card belonging to a 33-year-old male victim  
 to make unauthorized  transactions  to purchase  
 jewelry at Zodiac Jewelry located at 2829  
 3rd Ave. 
 The individual is described as a male, last  
 seen wearing a white t-shirt, grey sweatpants  
 and a multicolor hat. 
 It was reported to police that on Monday,  
 July 27 at 5:35 p.m. inside of 360 East 149 St.  
 at Chase Bank, an unidentified male approached  
 the victim, a 42-year-old male, and removed approximately  
 $7,000 from his hand and fled the  
 location. 
 It was  reported  to  police  that  on  Tuesday,  
 September 1 at 3:58 a.m. in front of a residential  
 building in the vicinity of Trinity Avenue and  
 Pontiac Place, the victim, a 31-year-old male,  
 was pursued by unidentified males in one vehicle, 
  a white BMW 7 Series sedan, and a second  
 car, a silver Hyundai Sonata. 
 The unidentified males exited the vehicles  
 and one of them discharged a firearm, striking  
 the victim in his left leg. The unidentified males  
 fled in both cars. The victim was transported to  
 Lincoln Hospital in stable condition. 
 41st Precinct 
 An unidentified male individual approached  
 a 24-year-old female uniformed officer assigned  
 to the 41 Precinct on Thursday, June 4  8:42 p.m.,  
 opposite of 831 Dawson St. while the officer was  
 attempting to enforce the established curfew. 
 The  individual  became  irate,  picked  up  a  
 metal folding chair, and struck the officer on the  
 head and arm. 
 The officer sustained a laceration to the  
 head, and bruising to the left forearm. The female  
 officer was removed to NYC Health & Hospitals/ 
 Lincoln in stable condition. 
 The individual then fled on foot to parts unknown. 
 The individual sought for questioning is described  
 as a male, dark complexion, approximately  
 30-years-old, 6 feet 1 inch tall, with black  
 hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing  
 ripped jean shorts, a black t-shirt with a white  
 decal in front and gold and white sneakers. 
 It was reported to police that on Friday June  
 12,  at  approximately  8:20  a.m.  inside  of  1131  
 West  Farms Rd.,  an  individual  approached  the  
 56-year-old female employee at the counter,  
 displayed a sharp object and demanded she  
 open the cash register. 
 The employee refused and the individual  
 fled the scene on foot westbound on East 167  
 Street. 
 42nd Precinct 
 On Sunday, July 5 at approximately 6:30  
 a.m. in front of 963 Prospect Ave., a 20-year-old  
 female victim left her wallet inside of a taxi. 
 Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, an unidentified  
 male was captured on surveillance inside  
 a liquor store at 171 Malcolm X Blvd. making  
 unauthorized transactions on the victim’s  
 debit card. 
 43rd Precinct 
 The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance  
 in locating 17-year old Elder Avenue resident  
 Jahnesiah St. Bernard, who was last seen  
 at her residence on Thursday, March 26 at 11  
 p.m. 
 She is described as a Black female, 5 feet 4  
 inches tall and 200 pounds and was last seen  
 wearing a yellow jacket, dark grey sweatpants  
 and blue sneakers. 
 The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance  
 in locating 39-year-old John Martinez, who was  
 last seen at his residence of 1960 East Tremont  
 Ave. on Thursday, March 26 at 6 p.m. 
 He is described as being 5 feet 9 inches tall  
 and weighing 200 pounds with brown eyes and  
 black hair. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket, 
  blue jeans and black sneakers. 
 44th Precinct 
 It was  reported  to police  that on Saturday,  
 May 16, at 7:35 a.m. on the stairs leading to the  
 elevated Manhattan-bound Morrison Avenue 6  
 train station, the victim, a 35-year-old male, was  
 approached from behind by an unidentified male  
 who grabbed the victim’s neck chain. 
 A struggle ensued and the unidentified male  
 and victim fell down several stairs, and the unidentified  
 male  became  separated  from  his  
 sweatshirt. 
 The unidentified male ultimately relieved the  
 victim of his chain, which was valued at $3,400.  
 The unidentified male fled to the rear passenger  
 side of a grey Nissan, which proceeded southbound  
 on Morrison Avenue. 
 On Saturday,  June  20  at  1:50  a.m.  in  front  
 of 150 East 174th St., a 45-year old male victim  
 was approached on the street by two unidentified  
 males who displayed firearms and demanded  
 his property. 
 The males removed $4,300 from the victim’s  
 pocket and fled the location in a gray Nissan sedan  
 northbound on Morris Avenue. The victim  
 was not injured as a result of this incident. 
 On June 27 at approximately 11:45 p.m.  in  
 the vicinity of Findlay Avenue and East 166th  
 Street, a 27-year-old victim was walking outside  
 when an unknown male fired one round and hit  
 the victim in the leg. 
 The individual fled southbound on Findlay  
 Avenue to parts unknown. EMS responded to  
 the scene and transported the victim to Lincoln  
 Medical Center in stable condition. 
 It was  reported  to police  that on Thursday  
 June 11, 2020, at approximately 1 a.m. at 1349  
 Inwood Ave., the campus of the Bronx Academy  
 of Promise Charter School, the individual gained  
 entry into the location by forcing open a rear roll  
 gate. 
 Once inside, the individual removed two  
 power tools and then fled the scene on foot  
 northbound on Inwood Avenue. 
 45th Precinct 
 The missing 33-year-old man Kareem Poller  
 was last seen Saturday, April 25, 2020 at approximately  
 3:05 p.m. inside 2061 Bartow Ave. 
 He is described as male Black, approximately  
 5 feet 7 inches, 240 pounds with brown eyes  
 and black hair. 
 Poller was last seen wearing a blue jacket,  
 BRONX TIMES REPORTER,10      SEPTEMBER 4-10, 2020 BTR 
 blue baseball cap, black jeans, brown sweater  
 and black sneakers. 
 An 30-year-old off duty FDNY EMT Justin Fotis  
 was arrested for operating a motor vehicle  
 with over .08% of alcohol intoxication, driving  
 while ability impaired, and for refusing to take  
 a breathalyzer test on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at  
 11:29 p.m. 
 It  was  reported  to  police  that  on  Monday  
 June 1 at approximately 10:20 p.m. at a 7 Eleven  
 at 500 Baychester Ave., five males and one female  
 gained entry into the location by breaking  
 the front glass door. 
 Once inside, the individuals removed an undetermined  
 amount of cell phone charges, cigarettes  
 and cigars. 
 The individuals fled the scene inside of red  
 4-door sedan and a gray 4-door sedan. 
 46th Precinct 
 The two males then removed the victim’s  
 jewelry which consisted of a two chains and  
 bracelet,  then  both  fled  on  foot  to  parts  unknown. 
 The victim’s property had an estimated value  
 of $1,000. 
 The two individuals are described as male,  
 in their 20’s-30’s. Both were last seen wearing  
 all dark clothing. 
 A 55-year-old-male victim was approached  
 by  an  unidentified male  inside  of  1892 Morris  
 Ave. on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at approximately  
 1:30 a.m. 
 The male punched the victim with a closed  
 fist and went through the victim’s pockets, before  
 forcibly removing a set of keys. 
 The man fled the location in an unknown direction  
 and victim refused medical attention at  
 the scene. 
 An unidentified male gained entry into  inside  
 Man Fix Fine Men’s Wear at 2381 Grand  
 Concourse by breaking the store front window  
 at approximately 3:20 a.m. on Tuesday, March  
 24. 
 Once inside, he removed $2,395 worth of  
 clothing  and  belts,  before  fleeing  in  unknown  
 direction. 
 It  was  recently  reported  that  on  Monday,  
 March 2,  approximately 7:15 p.m., a 45-year-old  
 female victim parked her car in front of 120 East  
 184th St. 
 Upon her return, she discovered her purse,  
 iPad and credit cards were removed. 
 Subsequent  investigation  determined  that  
 two unidentified males were captured on surveillance  
 entering and removing property from  
 the vehicle, before fleeing westbound on 184th  
 Street. 
 I47th Precinct 
 Police responded to a 911 call of a male assaulted  
 inside 801 Chestnut Ave. at 7:36 a.m. on  
 Saturday, April 4. 
 Upon arrival, police discovered 23-year-old  
 male Lloyd Hill unconscious and unresponsive  
 with stab wounds to the torso in his home. 
 EMS responded and transported the him to  
 NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi where he was  
 pronounced dead. 
 A 17-year-old male was arrested and charged  
 with murder in the second degree, manslaughter  
 and criminal possession of a weapon. 
 A 15-year-old male victim was on a northbound  
 2 train, in the vicinity of the 241st/Wakefield  
 subway station when he was approached  
 by several unidentified  males who demanded  
 his property on Saturday, June 6, 2020, at approximately  
 9 p.m. 
 They proceeded to punch the victim about  
 the head and stabbed him in the right arm/upper  
 back. 
 The males fled the station in unknown direction  
 with the victim’s Airpods. 
 The victim sought treatment at an area hospital  
 for non-life threatening injuries. 
 48th Precinct 
 Police responded to a 911 call of an unconscious  
 male  inside  of  1998  Clinton  Ave.  on  at  
 about 10:07 a.m. Monday April 6. 
 Upon arrival, responding officers discovered  
 an unconscious and unresponsive 22-year-old  
 male Javon Sealy inside of the location believed  
 to be his home. 
 EMS also responded to the scene and pronounced  
 him deceased. 
 Police later deemed the incident as a homicide  
 as the investigation continues. 
 49th Precinct 
 It was  reported  to  police  that  on  Tuesday,  
 April 21, 2020 at 7:20 p.m. in the vicinity of the  
 East 180th Street subway station on the 5 line,  
 two victims, a 34-year old male and a 17-year  
 old male were riding aboard a northbound 5  
 train when three unknown males boarded the  
 train and demanded the victim’s property. 
 When the victims refused the three males  
 began to punch and kick the two victims causing  
 pain, bruising and minor lacerations about  
 the head and body. 
 One of the three individuals removed a cell  
 phone from the 34-year old male victim and fled  
 the train at the Gun Hill Road Station on foot to  
 parts unknown. 
 EMS responded and transported both victims  
 to Jacobi hospital in stable condition. The  
 cell phone had an estimated value of $400. 
 The three individuals are described as Black  
 males, late teens to early 20’s. 
 50th Precinct 
 It was reported to police that  an unidentified  
 male removed the 14-year-old male victim’s  
 BMX bicycle which was parked at his residence  
 in the vicinity of West 238 Street and Cannon Pl.  
 at 8:50 a.m. on Monday, April 13. 
 The male fled in unknown direction with the  
 property. 
 52nd Precinct 
 On Monday, July 20, 2020 at approximately  
 11:44 p.m., police responded to a 911 call of a  
 male shot in front of 3340 Decatur Ave. 
 Upon  arrival,  officers  observed  a  24-yearold  
 male, unconscious and unresponsive, with  
 a gunshot wound to the back. EMS responded to  
 the location and transported the victim to Montefiore  
 Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. 
 There are no arrests and the investigation  
 remains ongoing.
