Rudy Macina Plaza Salutes Vets on Memorial Day
On Monday, May 27, the Rudy Macina Peace Memorial Plaza’s Memorial Day Ceremony was held on Pelham Parkway and
Williamsbridge Road. The event included the placement of a wreath by the monument, a rendition of ‘Taps,’ the raising of
the colors by veterans’ organizations and remarks from local elected offi cials and veterans.

honoring our nation’s fallen heroes from various
historical confl icts.
