deceased individual is pending family notification.
Friday, January 3 - The NYPD is asking for the
public’s assistance in locating 63-year old Luis Balbuena,
who last lived at 1131 Colgate Avenue.
Monday, January 6 at 7:30 a.m. - The NYPD is
seeking the public’s assistance in locating 13-year
old Destiny Walker, a Story Avenue resident, who
was last seen leaving her residence on Monday
morning. She is described as a black female, 5’5”,
130 pounds, with brown eyes and a medium complexion.
She was last seen wearing a black jacket, a
purple shirt, beige pants and black sneakers.
44th Precinct
Tuesday, December 17 at 7 p.m. - A 13-year
old male victim was approached by an unidentified
male in front of 64 E. 161st Street and asked
to use his iPhone. The victim complied and, when
he asked for his phone back, the male fled with the
phone in an unknown direction.
Saturday, December 21 at 7 p.m. - A 17-
year old female was riding a northbound D train
from 34th Street when she got involved in a verbal
dispute with two unidentified males. When the
train arrived at the 167th Street subway station, the
two males proceeded to punch and kick the female
victim about the face and head before fleeing the
station in an unknown direction. The victim was
treated at the scene for bruises and lacerations to
the face.
Sunday, December 22 at 1 a.m. - A 50-year
old male was entering his residence in the vicinity
of Walton Avenue and Elliot Place when he was approached
by an unidentified male who pushed him
against the wall and demanded his property. He
then proceeded to remove the victim’s wallet and
fled in an unknown direction. The victim was not
injured during the incident.
Thursday, January 2 at 2:18 p.m. - A DSNY
cleaning crew was approached by an unidentified
male, who proceeded to punch a 41-year old DSNY
supervisor in the head before fleeing the scene in
an unknown direction. The victim refused medical
attention.
Friday, January 3 at 6:50 a.m. - The NYPD is
asking for the public’s assistance in locating 15-year

40th Precinct
Monday, December 16 at 4 a.m. - A 47-year
male was standing in front of 383 E. 143rd Street,
within the Mott Haven Houses, attempting to catch
a taxi when he was approached by an unidentified
individual with a knife. The male proceeded to hold
the knife to the throat of the victim and demanded
money. The victim complied and the suspect fled
the location with $100. There were no injuries reported
as a result of this incident.
Sunday, December 29 at 2 a.m. - A 24-year
old male was approached by an unidentified male
in the vicinity of St. Ann’s Avenue and East 137th
Street. The unidentified male grabbed the victim
from behind and removed his wallet from his back
pocket. The wallet contained $60, ID and bank
cards. The unidentified male, who was wearing a
black jacket with fur trim on the hood, blue jeans
and Nike sneakers, fled northbound on St. Ann’s Avenue
on foot. The victim was not injured.
Saturday, January 4 at 2 p.m. - The NYPD is
seeking the public’s assistance in locating 63-year
old Ronald Jones, who was last seen leaving his
residence on Third Avenue. Jones is described as
a black male with brown eyes who was last seen
using a walker.
43rd Precinct
Friday, December 6 at 6:55 p.m. - An individual
approached an 18-year old delivery man and
displayed a knife. He then proceeded to remove the
victim’s cell phone, $136 and the food order he was
delivering before fleeing into 2120 E. Tremont Avenue.
Wednesday, January 1 at 7:02 a.m. - Two
individuals were involved in a physical altercation
while on board a #6 train. The first individual was
observed punching the second individual, while the
second individual was also seen dragging the first
individual off the train and kicking her in the stomach
at the Elder Avenue subway station.
Wednesday, January 1 at 10:29 a.m. - Police
responded to a 911 call for a male aided inside
of 1609 E. 174th Street. Upon arrival, officers
discovered an unconscious and unresponsive 29-
year old with gunshot wounds to the neck and the
head. EMS responded and pronounced the male decreased

resident. She is described as 5’6” and 160 pounds
and was last seen leaving her residence wearing a
maroon winter jacket, blue jeans and tan boots.
Monday, January 6 at 2:30 p.m. - The NYPD
has located 82-year old James Douglas, a Sheridan
Avenue resident who had been missing since
Saturday afternoon. Douglas was found safe and
unharmed.
45th Precinct
Tuesday, November 19 at 1 a.m. - An unidentified
male gained entry into Fabulous Flowers, located
on 3750 E. Tremont Avenue, by pushing in
the air conditioner and entering from the rear. Once
inside, the male removed $1,500 in cash from the
register and fled west on Randall Avenue. The male
suspect is described as being 6’0” and 230 pounds
with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen
wearing a grey zip-up jacket and black pants.
Saturday, December 7 at 3:20 p.m. - Multiple
unidentified individuals approached a 37-year old
male in the vicinity of Overing Street and Tratman
Avenue. The individuals proceeded to display knives
and removed the victim’s wallet along with $100 in
cash. The individuals then fled on foot northbound
on Westchester Avenue.
Monday, December 30 at 1:15 p.m. - A 21-
year old male was standing on the sidewalk in front
of 2430 E. Tremont Avenue when an unidentified
male and female approached him, at which time
a dispute ensued and escalated into a physical altercation.
During this altercation, the victim was
stabbed by one of the suspects before they both
fled in an unknown direction. The victim was transported
by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi in
stable condition with a puncture wound to the abdomen.
46th Precinct
Wednesday, September 25 at 9:45 p.m. - An
unidentified male gained entry into 2275 Morris Avenue
through a basement door. Once inside, the
male removed approximately $895 worth of drills
and garbage bags before fleeing in an unknown direction.
Friday, December 6 at 4:50 p.m. - Two unidentified
teens approached a 16-year old victim
while at a house party inside 1770 Davidson Avenue.
The individuals proceeded to punch the victim
and remove pieces of his clothing before the victim
was able to flee the location. The 16-year old victim,
along with his friend, were again engaged by
the same two individuals in front of 1615 Walton Avenue,
where they punched the 16-year old’s friend
and removed his iPhone 7.
Friday, December 27 at 11:37 p.m. - Police
responded to a 911 call of a male shot near the corner
of East Burnside and Morris avenues. Upon arrival,
officers observed a 24-year old male lying on
the ground, unconscious and unresponsive, with a
gunshot wound to the back. EMS responded to the
location and transported the victim to St. Barnabas
Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
There have been no arrests and the investigation remains
ongoing. The deceased individual has been
identified as Devon McFarlane.
Saturday, December 28 at 4:30 p.m. - A 43-
year old male victim was sitting on a bench on the
southbound platform of the 174th Street subway
station on the B/D line when he was approached
by an unidentified male who displayed a knife and
demanded his property. The suspect then removed
$100 in cash from the victim and fled the station
on foot to parts unknown. The victim was uninjured
during the incident. The suspect is described as a
hispanic male between 40-50 years of age and was
last seen wearing all dark clothing.
Saturday, December 28 at 7:30 p.m. - Unidentified
individuals approached a 47-year old male victim
in front of 1821 University Avenue. The individuals
proceeded to punch the victim in the head and
removed a bag of food from him before fleeing eastbound
on Morton Place. The victim refused medical
attention at the scene.
Saturday, January 4 at 7 p.m. - Two females,
34 and 28, were riding a northbound #4 train when
they were engaged in a verbal dispute with several
unidentified teens who boarded the train at 59th
Street. Once the train arrived at the 176th Street
subway station, the teens proceeded to grab the
victims’ personal belongings and punch them multiple
times about the face and head. The teens then
fled the station in an unknown direction with a gaming
system, a cell phone, credit cards and $80. The
victims were not seriously injured and refused medical
attention at the scene.
47th Precinct
Wednesday, December 25 at 3:50 p.m. - An
unidentified male gained entry into Kelly’s Pub, located
at 23 E. 233rd Street, by climbing over a fence
at the rear of the location and pushing in a second
floor window. Once inside, the suspect removed approximately
$2,000, two blank checks and a bottle
of liquor before fleeing in an unknown direction.
Friday, January 3 at 9:10 a.m. - The NYPD
is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 37-
year old Barker Avenue resident Azure Harris, who
was last seen leaving her residence on Friday morning.
She is described as a black female, 5’9” and
150 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She
was last seen wearing a brown coat, grey sweatpants
and maroon-colored boots.
Tuesday, January 7 at noon - The NYPD is
seeking the public’s assistance in locating 70-year
old Edelmiro Rivera, a Radcliff Avenue resident. Rivera
is described as a hispanic male, 5’6” and 160
pounds with a white beard. He was last seen wearing
a black shirt and black pants.
48th Precinct
Wednesday, December 4 at 3:15 p.m. - A 14-
year old female victim was approached from behind
by an unknown individual in the lobby of a residential
building on Beaumont Avenue. As the individual
attempted to pass the victim, he grabbed and
squeezed her buttocks before grabbing his groin
area while staring at her. The female teen screamed
and the suspect fled the location on foot, heading
eastbound. There were no injuries reported as a result
of this injury.
50th Precinct
Thursday, December 26 at 4 p.m. - A 60-year
old male made approximately $870 worth of purchases
and received a notification that the packages
were delivered to his residence. The victim
realized that the packages were removed and contacted
police. Subsequent investigation determined
that an unidentified male was captured on video
surveillance removing the packages from the victim’s
doorstep before fleeing in an unknown direction.
Tuesday, December 31 at 12:12 p.m. - An unidentified
male entered a T-Mobile store located at
5561 Broadway and requested to see merchandise.
The 24-year old female employee complied and the
male proceeded to remove property from the display
shelf. The employee confronted the individual,
at which time he fled the store with three Samsung
Galaxy watches. The employee sustained a minor
injury to her wrist but refused medical attention.
52nd Precinct
Saturday, January 4 at 7 p.m. - The NYPD
is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 17-
year old Ansel Muschette, a Villa Avenue resident.
He was last seen leaving his residence on Saturday
night.
