JOYFUL HOLIDAY TROLLEY HOSTED BY MP BID
On Sunday, December 22, the Morris Park BID hosted the fi rst ever ‘Morris Park Joyful Holiday
Trolley’. More than 400 people attended the event and were greeted with treats from
local businesses La Masa, Scaglione Bakery, Conti’s Pastry Shoppe as well as hot chocolate
and coffee from Morris Perk.

40TH PRECINCT HOLDS ANNUAL
HOLIDAY PARTY
The 40th Precinct held their holiday celebration at Maestro’s on Thursday, December 12.
The party was attended by 40th Precinct police offi cers as well as elected offi cials including
Assemblyman Marcos Crespo and Councilman Rafael Salamanca.

CHILDREN RECEIVE GIFTS FROM CARPENTERS
The NYC & Vicinity District Council of Carpenters and the Carpenter Contractor Alliance of
Metropolitan New York delivered over 800 toys to Bronx kids and families this past holiday
season. Elected offi cials who participated in the various toy drives included Councilwoman
Vanessa Gibson, senators Jamaal Bailey and Gustavo Rivera and assemblymen Marcos Crespo
and Michael Blake.
