40th Precinct
Sunday, December 22 at 7:40 p.m. - Police
were notified of several gunshots fired in the vicinity
of Weschester Avenue and East 152nd Street (Adam’s
Houses). Upon arrival, police were met by a 54-
year old male victim who stated that three unknown
male individuals knocked on his door and attempted
to gain entry to his apartment when he opened his
door. The victim was able to stop them from entering
and closed the door. One of the unknown males
discharged three gunshots into the door, striking the
victim’s dog who was also inside the apartment. The
three males then fled the location on foot to parts
unknown. Animal Care and Control responded and
pronounced the dog deceased at the scene. No other
injuries were reported during this incident. All three
male suspects are described as males between 20-
30 years old and were each last seen wearing dark
clothing.
41st Precinct
Monday, December 23 at 12:40 a.m. - An unidentified
male followed another individual inside of
1038 Lowell Street and continued to follow him up
the stairs before brandishing a silver firearm and
demanding the victim’s property. The victim fought
back by throwing beer bottles at the suspect, who
fled the scene empty handed. The victim did not
sustain any injuries. The male suspect is described
as wearing dark clothing and a coat with fur on the
hood.
42nd Precinct
Saturday, November 16 at 4:50 a.m. - A 24-
year old female was using her cell phone on a northbound
#2 train at the East 174th Street subway station
when an unidentified individual snatched it from
her hands when the doors opened at the station. The
male ran down to the street level and headed westbound
on East 174th Street.
Monday, December 16 at 4:15 p.m. - A 74-
year old male was sitting in his car in front of 1710
Hoe Avenue when two unknown individuals engaged
him in a verbal dispute over his parking spot.
The first individual proceeded to punch the victim in
the face, causing a laceration to his cheek and lip.
The individual then displayed a black firearm and
threatened the victim. The second individual then
punched the victim in the face and forcibly removed
his Metro PCS cellphone from his hand. Both individuals
fled the location on foot to parts unknown.
EMS responded to the scene and transported the
victim to an area hospital, where he was treated
and released.
Sunday, December 22 - The NYPD is asking
for the public’s assistance in identifying four
individuals wanted for questioning in connection
to a two-incident robbery pattern. The first incident
occurred inside of 980 Trinity Avenue at
3:37 p.m., when a 67-year old male victim was
approached by a group of unidentified individuals
who displayed knives. They proceeded to push the
victim to the ground, struck the victim about the
body numerous times and removed the victim’s
cell phone before fleeing the scene in an unknown
direction. The victim refused medical attention.
The second incident happened just 14 minutes later
at the same location, when a 33-year old male
was approached a group of unidentified individuals
who punched him in the face numerous times
and removed approximately $250 from the victim’s
pockets. The victim suffered lacerations to
the face. EMS responded to the scene and transported
the 33-year old male victim to NYC Health
+ Hospitals/Lincoln. The individuals fled the scene
in an unknown direction.
Tuesday, December 24 at 1:25 a.m. - A 60-
year old and 29-year old male were walking in front
of 3273 Third Avenue when they were approached
by several unidentified individuals who demanded
their property. The two victims refused, at which
point the suspect proceeded to punch and kick the
two victims about the body and removed $1 before
they fled westbound on East 154th Street. EMS responded
and transported the 60-year old male to
NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln in critical condition.
The 29-year old victim refused medical attention at
the scene.
Wednesday, December 25 at 8 p.m. - The
NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in locating
16-year old Robert Starks, who was last seen
leaving his Franklin Avenue residence on Wednesday
night. He is described as being approximately
5’7” tall and weighing 165 pounds with brown eyes,
a light complexion and short black hair with a thin
build. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black

sweatpants, black shoes and white du-rag.
43rd Precinct
Thursday, December 12 at 10:40 p.m. - Two
unidentified males climbed a fire escape to an apartment
building location in the vicinity of Newbold
and Olmstead avenues before attempting to open a
locked apartment window with pry bars. The individuals
were unsuccessful and fled the location without
any property. Detectives believe that the same two
individuals attempted to remove an air conditioning
unit from the same location on the morning of Thursday,
November 28.
Tuesday, December 24 at 5 p.m. - The NYPD
is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 17-
year old White Plains Road resident Erica Tillman,
who was last seen leaving her residence. She is described
as a Hispanic female, 5’10” and 170 pounds.
She was last seen wearing a black coat and dark
colored pants.
44th Precinct
Friday, November 8 at 7:30 p.m. - A 31-year
old woman was walking home from work when
she was approached from behind by two unknown
individuals in front of 199 E. 165th Street. The
first individual, described as a teenage male with
a dark complexion and a thin build, tugged at the
victim’s hand bag and was unsuccessful in removing
it from her possession. The second individual,
also described as a teenage male with a dark complexion
and a thin build, acted in concert with the
first individual before they both fled after attempting
to remove the victim’s property. During the
course of the struggle, the victim fell to the ground
and sustained minor lacerations to her hands but
refused medical attention at the scene. Both suspects
fled the location on foot heading eastbound
on 165th Street.
Thursday, November 28 at 9:05 p.m. - A 22-
year old male victim was on the escalator at the East
161st Street/River Avenue #4 subway station when
an unidentified male snatched her cellphone from
her hand and fled the station to the northwest corner
of 161st Street. The male suspect is described as
being in his 20s, about six feet tall with a thin build
and braids. He was last seen wearing blue and grey
shorts, a black long-sleeved shirt and black shoes.
Friday, December 20 at 2:30 p.m. - The
NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in locating
Shamire Coleman, a 14-year old Morris Avenue resident
who was last seen leaving her residence. She
is described as being approximately 4’7”, weighing
100 pounds with a thin build, brown eyes and black
hair. She was last seen wearing a green coat, blue
jeans and red sneakers.
Saturday, December 21 at 5:38 p.m. - A 24-
year old male was walking down the street when he
got into a verbal dispute with two unknown male individuals,
which escalated into a physical confrontation
in front of 32 E. 170th Street. One of the two
male individuals brandished a sharp instrument and
began to stab and slash at the victim, which caused
lacerations, bleeding and pain on the face, arms
and legs. During the assault, the victim dropped his
phone which was picked up by one of the two males.
The two males then fled on food northbound on
Townsend Avenue. EMS responded to the scene and
transported the victim to Bronx Lebanon Hospital in
serious but stable condition. The cell phone had an
undetermined financial value. The two individuals
wanted for questioning in connection to this incident
are described as males between 20-30 years old
and were both last seen wearing all dark clothing.
Sunday, December 22 at 9 p.m. - A 27-year
old female victim was followed into an elevator by
an unknown male in the vicinity of Grand Concourse
and East 158th Street. The male individual had his
genitals exposed and was touching them in the victim’s
presence. The victim immediately exited the
elevator and the male suspect fled the building to
parts unknown.
46th Precinct
Sunday, December 1 at 5:08 a.m. - An unidentified
individual gained access to the World’s
Changers Church at 2417 Grand Concourse by kicking
in the air conditioner wall unit. Once inside, the
individual searched the church’s prayer booths but
left the location empty handed.
Wednesday, December 18 at 10:30 a.m. - An
unknown male emtered a residential building, located
in the vicinity of West Tremont and Harrison
avenues, through an unlocked basement door and
removed a Bosch Jackhammer valued at $1,500
before fleeing the scene to parts unknown. The individual
is described as having a medium complexion,
approximately 6’1”, weighing 250 pounds with
an athletic build, brown eyes and a full beard. He
was last seen wearing an olive green hooded bomber
jacket, blue jeans, a baseball cap and black and
white sneakers.
Saturday, December 21 at 2:35 a.m. - A 20-
year old male was approached by an unidentified individual
who stabbed him in the chest with a knife.
EMS responded to the scene and transported the
victim to St. Barnabas Hospital in critical condition.
The unidentified individual being sought is described
as having a medium complexion, 5’11”, weighing
180 pounds and was last seen wearing dark colored
clothing.
Tuesday, December 24 - The police arrested
46-year old Brooklyn resident Asun Thomas and
charged him with murder in connection to an incident
that took place at 519 E. 187th Street on the
morning of Sunday, October 13, which resulted in
the death of 40-year old Luz Perez.
48th Precinct
Monday, December 23 at 9:11 a.m. - A 21-year
old female was riding on a northbound #5 train at the
East Tremont/West Farms subway station when she
was grabbed from behind by an unidentified male.
The male proceeded to snatch her cell phone and
pick up her wallet, which fell to the ground during
the incident. The male fled the station to street level
with the victim’s cell phone and $45. The victim was
removed by EMS New York Presbyterian Hospital for
medical evaluation.
49th Precinct
Wednesday, December 25 at 12 p.m. - The
NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in locating
61-year old Bobby White, a Holland Avenue
resident. He is described as a black male, 5’8”, 130
pounds, and was last seen wearing a burgundy coat
and dark pants.
52nd Precinct
Sunday, December 8 - Police identified 30-
year Michael Andrews in connection to an incident
that took place on Saturday, December 7 at 4:30
p.m., when Andrews allegedy diplayed a firearm and
threatened to shoot a 37-year old male Uber driver
after a verbal dispute. He then fled the location on
foot to parts unknown. There were no injuries as a
result of this incident.
Monday, December 23 at 1:15 p.m. - A 40-
year old female entered an elevator with an unknown
female individual inside a residence in the
vicinity of Mosholu Parkway Parkway and Paul Avenue.
The two females got into a verbal dispute,
which escalated into a physical confrontation. The
unknown female began to punch the 40-year old female
victim in the face, head and torso, causing pain
and bruising. The suspect then forcibly removed the
victim’s purse and fled the building on foot to parts
unknown. EMS responded but the victim refused
medical attention at the scene. The victim’s purse
contained identification and cash with an estimated
value of $400.
