that sealed the deal.
A new year with new ideas to be
part of at the Post. Don’t be a stranger,
the Post belongs to the membership.
With Christmas behind us and New
Years upon us, I ask that
you think of the troops
deployed through out
the world and our veterans
passed and present.

40th Precinct
Sunday, December 8 at 9:39 p.m. - A 26-
year old male and a 28-year old male were approached
by two individuals in the vicinity of East
154th Street and Melrose Avenue. The two individuals
brandished a knife and demanded money
from the two victims, who surrendered $150 in
cash as well as an iPhone 6. The suspects fled
with the victim’s property to parts unknown. The
victims were not injured.
41st Precinct
Saturday, December 14 at 9:30 a.m. - A
31-year old female was approached from behind
by an unidentified individual at the intersection
of Bruckner Boulevard and Whitlock Avenue.
The suspect forcibly removed her purse from her
shoulder and fled eastbound on Bruckner Boulevard.
The purse contained the victim’s identification
card, credit cards and $200 in cash. No injuries
were sustained as a result of this incident.
The individual is described as a black male in his
20s and was last seen wearing a black jacket and
black pants.
42nd Precinct
Wednesday, December 4 at 10 p.m. - An individual
entered Pay-O-Matic located at 3212 3rd
Avenue and simulated a firearm while displaying
a note demanding cash to the counter employee.
The employee walked away and the suspect
fled to parts unknown empty handed. The suspect
is described as 5’7”, approximately 180
pounds, mid 40s with brown eyes and was last
seen wearing a green hooded jacket, blue jeans
and a black hat.
Sunday, December 15 at 3 p.m. - A 42-year
old man was at the rear of his vehicle in front of
445 E. 163rd Street when an unidentified male
came from behind and slashed the victim in the
face. The suspect fled the location in a black
BMW. There was no previous encounter or verbal
exchange between the victim and the male. The
victim drove himselve to Mt. Sinai Hospital where
he received multiple stitches.
43rd Precinct
Saturday, December 7 at 2:55 a.m. - A 63-
year old for-hire vehicle operator was seated in a
black 2018 Toyota Sedan opposite 11 Grant Circle
when an unidentified male entered the rear
passenger area of the vehicle and requested a
ride. A verbal dispute ensued and the driver used
his cellphone to call 911. The unidentified male
then snatched the victim’s blue iPhone 6 from his
hand and fled.
Thursday, December 12 at 3:30 p.m. - A
13-year old male was entering his residence in
the vicinity of East 172nd Street and Elder Avenue
when two unidentified males approached him
from behind and threw him to the ground. The
male suspects proceeded to rummage through
his pockets and removed his property before
fleeing the location with his cell phone. The victim
was not injured as a result of this incident.
44th Precinct
Saturday, November 24 at 9:42 p.m. - Police
responded to a call of an assault that took
place inside a residential unit at 760 Grand Concourse.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 45-year
old female, later identified as Wendy Martinez,
lying unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot
to her face inside the apartment. EMS responded
and pronounced the victim deceased at
the scene. No arrests have been made and the
investigation is ongoing. The male suspsect is
described as having a medium complexion and
build. He was last seen wearing a dark hooded
jacket, dark colored baseball cap, grey sneakers
and dark sweatpants with a Miami Heat basketball
logo on the left leg.
Friday, December 6 at 4:49 p.m. - An unidentified
male discharged a firearm in front of
1520 Grand Concourse. There were no injuries
as a result of this incident. The sought after individual
is described as approximately 25 years
old, 5’5”, 130 pounds and was last seen wearing
all black clothing.
Monday, December 16 at 7:30 a.m. - The
NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in locating
13-year old female Yarelis Negron, who lives
on West 170th Street. She was last seen at her
residence and was last seen wearing a green
jacket, black sweatsuit and black sneakers. She
is described as a Hispanic female with black hair
and brown eyes at approximately 5’5” and 138
pounds.
45th Precinct
Sunday, November 17 at 7:15 a.m. - A 51-
year old male was standing on the Middletown
Road #6 train station northbound platform when
three unidentified individuals snatched his iPhone
7 and fled the station.
46th Precinct
Monday, November 18 at 1 a.m. - An unidentified
individual approached a 30-year old in
front of 1550 University Avenue and engaged in
a verbal dispute. The dispute escalated, at which
point the individual displayed a knife, which he
used to stab the victim three times in his arm.
EMS responded to the scene and transported the
victim to an area hospital in stable condition. The
male suspect is described as 5’7” or 5’8” and approximately
170 pounds with a beard.
Monday, December 16 at 11 a.m. - Two unidentified
males in possession of a firearm and a
knife forced themselves inside a residence in the
vicinity of Montgomery Avenue and West 176th
Street. Once inside, the males threatened bodily
harm to the 18 and 21-year old females who were
present. The females were taken to another room
in the residence and forced on their knees as the
males ransacked the apartment. The males removed
$1,200, two cell phones and jewelry before
fleeing the location. There were no injuries
as a result of this incident.
48th Precinct
Friday, December 20 at 7:57 a.m. - Police
responded to a call of an unconscious infant inside
of 2350 Webster Avenue. Upon arrival, officers
observed a two-month old male unconscious
and unresponsive. EMS reponded to the location
and transported the infant, who was later identified
as Jayden Laboriel, to St. Barnabas Hospital
where he was pronounced deceased. The medical
examiner will determine the cause of death
and the investigation is ongoing.
50th Precinct
Tuesday, December 3 at 7:05 p.m. - Two
individuals entered a T-Mobile at 5670 Riverdale
Avenue and one of them told everybody in the
store to stay still and to not call anyone as he
placed his right hand in his jacket pocket. The
second individual used a cutting instrument to
remove eight cell phones from their display cases.
The individuals walked out of the store and
fled in an unknown direction. Both individuals
were last seen wearing dark clothing.
Friday, December 20 at 5:22 p.m. - The NYPD
is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 82-
year old Barbara McShane, who was last seen in
front of the Chase Bank located at 5581 Broadway.
She is described as being approximately
5’2” tall, weighing about 100 pounds, with a thin
build, blue eyes and short grey curly hair. She
was last seen wearing a dark blue hooded jacket,
dark colored pants and navy blue loafers.
52nd Precinct
Friday, December 6 at 8:10 a.m. - Two
teenage males were standing on the Mosholu
Parkway #4 train station southbound platform
when they were approached by an unidentified
individual who simulated a weapon in his waistband
area and asked one of the males to walk to
the other end of the platform. The teenage boy
complied and removed his iPhone, Apple Watch
and Airpods. The suspect then returned to the
other teenager and punched him before removing
his iPhone and fleeing the station. The suspect is
reported as also being a teenager.
