Cardinal Spellman in a morning matinee.
Bronxville’s offensive front were
lead by Aaron Diaz, Darin Jurado,
Jayden Piparo, Brian Jurado, and
Matteo Marrone and Giuseppe Mineiro.
It was a close game where both
defenses where committed on not allowing
a score. Bronxville’s Max Wiehler
opened up the score by netting
a corner kick goal and making the
score 1-0. Both offenses were aggressive
and Cardinal Spellman took advantage
of a couple of miscues which
ended the fi rst half in a 2-1 score. Both
teams kept being aggressive on the offensive
side but both defenses were up
to the challenge.Defensively, Solomon
Smith, Christopher Flanagan,Ernest
Beam, Frankie Monti and Dylan Almestica
secured the defensive side of the
fi eld for Bronxville Auto by not allowing
a strong offense to strike. Strikers

two straight shots on goal that kissed
the right hand post consecutively in
the second half. Key opportunities
that would decide the outcome. Midfi

Bulla pressured and moved the ball
in a nice aggressive offensive front.

stops throughout the second half but it
was not enough to come back from a 2-1

score of 2-1. There were several opportunities
but the team was not able to
execute. Next up for Bronxville Auto is

early in the 1st half with a blast that
went over the goalie’s head. Cecelia
Porter played another great game in
goal for All Time Detection making
one spectacular save after another.
Victoria Guliano and Tori Anderson
kept the middle of the fi eld locked
down keeping Michael Anthony’s to
only one goal in the fi rst half. Danielle
Brown would give All Time the lead
taking a cross from Isabella Vento and
redirecting the ball into the goal. The
game would stay 2-1 until a defl ection
in front of the net by Michael Anthony
would tie the game at 2 with 10 minutes
left to play.
Capital Shield Insurance takes a
loss this week against Michael Anthony’s
4-2. Goalie Charlize Apunte
played a great game saving Capital
Shield from several shots on goal. With

on Michael Anthony’s. Outstanding
midfi eld play from Jade Haney,
Daniella Mosca and Emily Gutierrez
as well as newcomers Neomi Gonzalez
and Olivia Lopez. Two goals were
