Beth Abraham Center, the 448-bed nursing home and rehabilitation
facility on Allerton Avenue and Bronx Park East,
has introduced a brand new sensory program designed to
help stimulate the senses for low functioning residents with
dementia or other memory related issues. These particular
residents have, over time, begin to lose a fair amount of
their key senses, such as smell, taste, sight, hear and touch
and this program hones in on those areas the patient can
mostly benefi t from by adding real world products that the
residents can get re-acquainted with.
