40th Precinct
Saturday, January 4 at 6:30 p.m. - An unknown
individual gained access to 570 E. 137th
Street through a rear door. Once inside the construction
site, the male gained access to a security
guard area and removed some property before
fleeing the location.
Thursday, January 23 at 10:35 a.m. - An
unidentified male approached a 25-year male victim
inside of a southbound 6 train approaching the
Cyrpress Avenue subway station when he proceeded
to punch the victim multiple times in the
face. The victim detrained at the station and fled,
while the male suspect remained on the southbound
train. The victim refused medical attention
Saturday, January 25 at 2:20 p.m. - The
NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying
a male in connection to an incident that
took place when a 45-year old female was riding
aboard a northbound 2 train, in the vicinity of the
149th Street subway station, when she was informed
that an unidentified male had removed her
cell phone without her knowledge. The victim approached
the male and he returned her cell phone
before exiting the station.
Friday, January 31 at 4:22 p.m. - An unidentified
male stabbed a 26-year old male victim
multiple times following an altercation inside
of 412 E. 149th Street. The male suspect fled the
scene eastbound on East 149th Street. The victim
suffered two puncture wounds to his torso and to
one of his buttocks. He was transported by EMS
to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln in critical but
stable condition.
Monday, February 3 at 3:30 p.m. - An 88-
year old female victim was standing at the corner
of East 149th Street and 3rd Avenue when an unidentified
male removed her jacket from her hand,
which contained approximately $380. The male
fled the scene in an unknown direction following
the incident.
Thursday, February 6 - The NYPD arrested
23-year old Juan Bermudez, a Cypress Avenue
resident, in connection to an incident that took
place on Monday, February 3 at 3:24 a.m., when
he approached a 30-year old male while inside the
Cypress Avenue subway station on the northbound
6 train platform. Bermudez allegedly stabbed the

victim multiple times in the face with a cutting instrument
and removed the victim’s cell phone before
fleeing the scene in an unknown direction. The
suspect has been charged with second degree attempted
murder, first degree robbery, second degree
of assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
The 30-year old male victim sustained serious
physical injuries, including lacerations to the face,
and was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/
Lincoln where he was treated for his injuries.
41st Precinct
Tuesday, January 28 at 7:34 p.m. - The
NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying
a male in connection to an incident where
an unidentified male discharged a dark-colored
firearm multiple times in front of 951 Hoe Avenue
before fleeing in an unknown direction.
There were no reported injuries in regard to this
incident.
Wednesday, January 29 at 5:30 p.m. - A
19-year old male victim was walking in the vicinity
of Westchester Avenue and Kelly Street when
one of several unidentified individuals pushed
him from behind. The males proceeded to punch
the victim in the back of the head before removing
his headphones and his cellphone. They were
last seen fleeing eastbound on Westchester Avenue.
Sunday, February 2 at 4:20 p.m. - An unidentified
male fired several shots in front of 941
Hoe Avenue before fleeing on foot in an unknown
direction. There were no reported injuries and no
property damage reported as a result of this incident.
42nd Precinct
Sunday, January 19 at 7:04 a.m. - An unidentified
male gained entry into a construction
site at 443 East 162nd Street by climbing over a
wall. Once inside, the individual broke the lock
to a toolbox and removed approximately $3,000
worth of tools before fleeing the location in an
unknown direction. At the time of the incident,
the unidentified male was wearing a black cap, a
dark colored jacket, blue jeans and black sneakers.

43rd Precinct
Monday, December 30 at 5:35 p.m. - A 22-
year old female victim was riding a northbound 6
train into the St. Lawrence subway station when
an unidentified male attempted to engage her in
conversation. The victim ignored his advances, at
which time he verbally insulted her in Spanish and
threatened to harm her with a boxcutter in his possession.
The victim exited at the station and was
not injured as a result of this incident.
Thursday, January 9 at 5:40 p.m. - A 36-
year old male victim was parking his vehicle
in front of 1521 Purdy Street when he was approached
by two unidentified males who had exited
their vehicle. The males proceeded to force the
victim from his vehicle and physically assaulted
him before fleeing in their double-parked vehicle.
EMS transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/
Jacobi to be treated for bruises and lacerations
to the head and face.
Sunday, January 26 at 9:22 a.m. - A 34-year
old female was withdrawing money from an ATM
inside of a grocery store located at 1461 Beach
Avenue when an unidentified male entered the
store and attempted to snatch the money from her
hands. The victim resisted and the suspect forcibly
removed $30 from the victim before fleeing
the scene in an unknown direction.
Tuesday, February 4 at 5:37 p.m. - An unidentified
male attempted to leave a supermarket,
located at 1630 Bruckner Boulevard, with unpaid
items when a 24-year old male security guard confronted
him. The male produced a knife and fought
with the guard before fleeing in an unknown direction
without the food items. The security guard did
not suffer any lacerations, but did suffer pain and
bruising from the incident. He refused medical attention
at the scene.
44th Precinct
Tuesday, January 21 at 4:30 p.m. - A 16-
year old male entered his residential building, located
in the vicinity of Anderson and Shakespeare
avenues, when three unknown males followed
him up the staircase. When the victim reached his
floor, the individuals grabbed him by his jacket,
physically restrained him and demanded his property.
The males then forcibly removed his AirPods
from his backpack before fleeing the scene. The
victim did not sustain any injuries.
Thursday, February 4 at 8 a.m. - The NYPD
is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 11-
year old Starlin Maxwell, who was last seen leaving
his Findlay Avenue residence. He is described
as a Hispanic male, approximately 4’9” and 70
pounds with a thin build, dark complexion, brown
eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing
a grey polo shirt, navy blue sweatpants, a black
jacket and Nike sneakers.
Thursday, February 4 at 8 p.m. - The NYPD
is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 15-
year old Darren Curtis, a College Avenue resident.
He is described as being 5’6”, 120 pounds and was
last seen wearing all dark clothing.
Thursday, February 6 at 7:30 a.m. - The NYPD
is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 13-year
old Jazia Alston, a 167th Street resident. It was reported
that she was last seen in front of her school
located at 200 W. 167th Street. She is described as
being approximately 5’1”, weighing 100 pounds with
a thin build, medium complexion, brown eyes and
black hair. She was last seen wearing a pink jacket,
black shirt, black pants and black boots.
45th Precinct
Sunday, February 2 at 2 a.m. - The NYPD is
seeking the public’s assistance in locating 15-year
old Samuel Garcia Soto. Samuel was last seen
inside of his Revere Avenue residence. He is described
as a Hispanic male, 5’11” and 150 pounds
with brown eyes and black hair.
Sunday, February 2 at 4 p.m. - The NYPD arrested
34-year old NYPD officer Julio Jimenez and
charged him with petit larceny and criminal possession
of stolen property.
46th Precinct
Friday, January 24 - 27-year old homeless
man Christopher Padin was arrested and charged
with second degree murder in connection to an incident
that occurred on the night of Sunday, January
19, when police responded to a 911 call for
a male shot in front of 2241 Creston Avenue and
later discovered an unconscious and unresponsive
23-year old male with gunshot wounds to his head
and torso. The victim, later identified as Matthew
Jones, a West 178th Street resident, was transported
by EMS to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he
succumbed to his injuries.
Monday, January 27 at 7:09 p.m. - Multiple
unidentified males gained entry to 2003 Walton
Avenue through an unlocked door. Once inside,
they entered a laundry room, drilled into laundy
card dispense machines and removed an undetermined
amount of currency in coins before fleeing
the scene in an unknown direction.
Sunday, February 2 at 2:05 p.m. - A 37-year
old male victim was in front of 1785 Townsend Avenue
when he was approached from behind by an
unidentified male who snatched the victim’s cellphone
from his hand. The suspect proceeded to run
towards East 175th Street following the incident.
47th Precinct
Wednesday, January 29 at 6:17 a.m. - Police
responded to a 911 call of an aided infant inside of
3642 Holland Avenue. Upon arrival, police officers
observed a one-month old infant in the apartment
unit, both unconscious and unresponsive. EMS responded
to the location and transported the aided
child to Montefiore North Hospital, where he was
pronounced deceased. The infant was later identified
as Kaseem Watkins. There are no arrests at
this time in regard to this incident and the investigation
remains ongoing.
Monday, February 3 at 3:26 p.m. - An unidentified
male fired several shots in front of 751
East Gun Hill Road before fleeing on foot in an unknown
direction. There were no reported injuries
and no property damaged reported as a result of
this incident.
49th Precinct
Saturday, January 11 at 4:50 p.m. - A 15-
year old female victim was exiting the BX39 bus in
the vicinity of Morris Park Avenue and White Plains
Road when an unidentified male grabbed her buttocks.
There were no injuries reported as a result
of this incident.
52nd Precinct
Friday, January 31 at 12:45 a.m. - A large
group of individuals approached a 35-year old male
in front of a residential building in the vicinity of East
Kingsbridge Road and Davidson Avenue. The individuals
proceeded to punch, kick and throw the victim
to the ground and removed $120 from him before
fleeing the scene in an unknown direction. The
victim refused medical attention at the scene.
Friday, January 31 at 5 a.m. - An unidentified
individual entered through the rear entrance of a
Metro located at 7 E. Mosholu Parkway North by
breaking the lock. Once inside, the individual took
four iPhones and one LG phone. The individual left
the location through the rear door and fled in an
unknown direction.
