out. “What makes a person’s
house nice is that it’s set up as
they like it. They’re comfortable
there,” she says.
Silverman found the carved wood armchairs at Anastacia’s, a Philadelphia antiques shop, and had them upholstered in soft, hand-stitched
kantha quilts from India. The marble mantel is one of five in the house. The beaded chandeliers throughout, purchased from ABC Carpet &
Home, are not antique but were handmade of vintage materials.
