The best businesses Queens has to
off er all convened at the LaGuardia
Plaza Hotel on the evening of
Jan. 31 during Schneps Media’s annual
Bethpage Best of the Boro VIP winners
celebration.
Th is year, 365 businesses won the distinguished
Bethpage Best of the Boro title in
the annual contest where hundreds of businesses
compete to be the fi rst-place winner
in a myriad of diff erent categories.
Queens Courier Publisher and President
Victoria Schneps hosted the event.
“Tonight we’re celebrating you,” said
Schneps. “We survived with the support of
our business community.”
Th e program is made possible with the
support of the Bethpage Federal Credit
Union, a non-profi t fi nancial cooperative
that makes a concerted eff ort to give back to
the communities it serves.
“At the end of the day, Bethpage Best of
the Boro allows the local businesses to promote
whatever they off er and allows us to
sponsor them. It allows us to support local
businesses which is so important for our
economy and for the communities that we
serve,” said Cania Infante, vice president of
grand strategy at Bethpage Federal Credit
Union.
As guests arrived to the party, they were
greeted by several tables run by prominent
Queens businesses. Th e Th irsty Koala, an
Astoria restaurant and 2020 winner, gave
attendees a chance to try the BoroTini –a
refreshing mix of vodka ginger beer, elderfl
ower, cranberry and tonic.
Paul Halvatzis of Amorelli Realty, “is very
proud to be voted as the best real estate
offi ce in Queens in Bethpage Best of the
Boro for the fourth year in a row.”
