Fulton fi sticuffs
Three jerks ganged up on a
stranger on Fulton Street on Dec.
21.
Police said the trio of brutes allegedly
surrounded the victim near
Lafayette Avenue at about 5pm and
started throwing punches, injuring
the victim’s face. When cops arrived
at the scene, at least one of the
assailants resisted arrest, fi ghting
being handcuffed and biting an offi
cer’s shoulder in protest.
All three were arrested at the
scene.
Accidental ID theft
Someone stole a host of important
documents from a car parked
on Hanson Place on Dec. 26.
The victim parked their car
near S Portland Avenue from just
before 4pm, police said, and left it
there for about four hours. During
that time, a sneaky-thief cut
open a plastic tarp on the back of
the car and hit the jackpot, making
off with a birth certifi cate, naturalization
papers, work ID, and
Northface brand backpack, all in
all worth more than $1,000, according
to the victim.
Return after return
One Brooklyn-based small
business realized they were being
scammed on Dec. 14.
Beginning in October, police
said, the victim, who runs an online
cosmetics business from her
Flushing Avenue offi ce, has been
dealing with a shady customer
who has repeatedly placed an order,
then claimed the goods were
damaged or that the order had
never been placed after receiving
their delivery and contested
the charges with their credit card
company. After months of confi
rmed delivery notifi cations and
thousands of dollars lost as the
money bounced between bank accounts,
the frustrated business
owner reported the fraud to police.
Domestic dispute
A fi ght between ex-partners got
out of hand at a Navy Walk apartment
on Dec. 17.
Police said the two were at their
shared apartment near Myrtle Avenue
when the fi ght began at about
9:30am, when the victim’s ex-girlfriend
allegedly began scratching
and hitting him, and even tried to
put him in a chokehold, before pulling
out a small knife and slashing
his hand.
Cops were called and an offi cer
arrested the ex-girlfriend on the
scene.

Cadillac jacked
A car jacker stole a black Cadillac
left running at a Stillwell Avenue
gas station on Dec. 20.
As police were interviewing the
victim between Kings Highway and
Avenue P they saw the stolen vehicle
speed by around 9:15 pm and the
thief run from the vehicle.
Glass houses
A brute hit a woman in the face
with a glass bottle at a 15th Avenue
apartment on Dec. 24.
The victim told police she was in
a verbal argument with the stranger
at the apartment building between
61st and 62nd streets when the savage
hit her with the bottle around
6:50 am and fl ed.
Dollars and phones
Highwaymen stole a pedestrian’s
cellphones while they were
walking home from work on 63rd
Street after asking for money on
Dec. 24.
The victim told police when he
refused and continued walking at
the intersection of 20th Avenue,
the lout pushed him from behind
around 5 am and took his two cellphones.

CONEY ISLAND-SEA GATE
Home invasion
Tricky home Invaders looted a
W. 27th Street home on Dec. 26.
The victim told police that one
of the baddies knocked on the door
and pretend to be “maintenance
worker conducting a COVID-19 survey”
at the home near Surf Avenue
at around 5:40 pm, when the two others
barged in and began violently
assaulting the victim, before leaving
with various stolen goods.
EMS workers rushed the bloodied
victim to Maimonides Hospital
for treatment.

BAY RIDGE—DYKER HEIGHTS
Shooting their shot
Three scoundrels shot a man at a
68th Street residence on Dec. 21.
The victim told police that the
gunmen entered the home near
Third Avenue and fi red multiple
rounds at around 7:50 pm, hitting
the victim multiple times.
EMS workers took the bloodied
victim to nearby NYU Langone Hospital
in stable condition, according
to police reports.

Brooklyn man stabbed to
death in housing complex

A Brooklyn man was stabbed
to death inside the public housing
complex where he lived on Christmas
night, police reported.
Aaron Cherry, 34, of Lorraine
Street in the Red Hook Houses was
killed in front of a nearby building
at 11 Bush St. just before 11:59 p.m.
on Dec. 25.
Offi cers from the 76th Precinct
and NYPD PSA 1, in responding
to a 911 call about an unconscious
man at the location, found Cherry
with a stab wound to his neck.
EMS rushed him to NewYork-
Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist
Hospital, where he was pronounced
dead.
So far, police have not yet ascertained
a possible motive for the
deadly stabbing, or a description of
a suspect. Detectives are canvassing
security camera footage from
the housing complex, hoping to get
an image of possible perpetrators.
No arrests have been made in
the ongoing investigation, police
said.
