@KATRINAMEDOFF Shopping for crafts, baked goods, jewelry, décor,
homewares and more? If it can be made, you can bet a
talented local is making it right here in our borough! This
month, as many residents are actively trying to support
area businesses, we wanted to highlight local makers.
You can find their products at neighborhood boutiques,
pop-up markets and online. We asked readers to share photos
of locally made goods via Instagram (@boromagazine). We’re
printing some of our favorite submissions here, but these barely
scratch the surface of all of the incredible, ultra-small businesses
in western Queens — read about a few more on page 14!
