artists to help them know that they
can get through this time,” Adams
said. “Between that tragic event
and getting my Broadway debut
and losing it within 24 hours —
those things have to affect you. If
they don't, you’re not human. You
need to give yourself that time
and that grace so you can heal,
grieve some of the things you lost,
like theater opportunities, so you
can get back up and on your feet
in your own time.”
Now, Adams feels like she has
reached artistic freedom, armed
with the tools she needs to
create in every lane she wants to.
And she’s got a big year ahead:
"#BYOP" is currently available
for pre-order; the audiobook
and e-book are out now; her
new record label, No Reverse
Records is releasing two new
albums; and on top of it all, she’s
getting married this fall where
her journey first began: in Gantry
Plaza State Park.
