An employee told police the
shoplifters began stuffing items
into a pink laundry bag at the
store between Hendrickson and
Coleman Streets at around 5 p.m.,
before hightailing it out of the
store heading towards Flatbush
Avenue.
Bad check
An identity thief swindled a
Marine Park woman out of $5,000
on June 3.
The victim told police she
dropped a check into a mailbox at
E. 37th Street and Quentin Road
around noon, only for the thief to
fish it out and cash it electronically.
Tool time
A thief looted $3,700 worth of
tools from a parked car on Avenue
T on July 30.
The victim told police he
parked his car overnight near
Coleman and Kimball streets that
evening, only to return the next
morning to find his rear windows
broken and his tools missing.

Cops cuffed a man for allegedly

The victim told police the suspect
tried to exit the cab without
paying his fare near W. 17th
Street at 7:45 p.m., when the guy
punched him in the head, before
f leeing, cops said.
Wheel crook
A thief nabbed $1,000 worth of
wheels off a car parked on Ocean
Parkway on July 30.
The victim told police he
parked his car near E. Second
Street and at 9 a.m., only to return
a few hours later to find his
car on bricks.
Bad luck
A thief nabbed the wallet off a
man at a Cropsey Avenue bodega
on July 31
The victim told police he set
his wallet on the counter of the
deli near Bay 46th and Bay 47th
streets to buy lotto tickets at 4:30
p.m.
When he turned to grab his

A thief beat and robbed a man
on Ocean Parkway on July 27.
The victim told police the
crook caught him with a sucker
punch near Neptune Avenue at
1:45 p.m., knocking a tooth loose
and fracturing his jaw.
The bruiser nabbed the victim’s
wallet, and other valuables
worth $350 cops said.

at gunpoint on Ocean Parkway
Aug. 1.
The bonehead entered the car
parked near Ave P through the
passenger door at 10:15 p.m., when
he pointed a gun at the driver and
commanded her to drive.
Once in motion, the crook demanded
their wallets, before f leeing,
cops said.
Working man
A thief made off with beer, cigarettes
and cash after looting a
Nostrand Avenue gas station on
July 29.
The victim told police the
shoplifter entered the store near
Avenue T at around 4 p.m., nabbing
smokes and booze, before
demanding a worker hand over
his cash, and then hightailing it,
cops said.

Dirty dogs!
Cops cuffed a man and a
woman for allegedly beating a 75-
year-old man inside his Bay 31st
Street apartment and then his
dig on July 30.
The elderly victim told police
that an argument about a suitcase
broke out at his home between
Bath and Benson avenues
at 8 p.m., prompting the 31-yearold
woman to punch him in the
face, and the 48-year-old man to
push him to the ground.
The two defendants then allegedly
ran off with the man’s
Yorkie, Toby, worth $1,500, cops.
Sibling rivalry
A 21-year-old man beat up his
younger brother on 17th Avenue
on July 27.
The 17-year-old victim told police
that his brother struck him
with a chair at a store between
Bay Ridge Avenue and 68th Street
at 11:15 p.m., and then continued
the beatdown with a flurry of
blows.
Teen terror
Three teenagers beat up a 16-
year-old boy on 20th Lane on July
30, taking cash and electronics.
The victim told police that
one kid sucker punched him in
the back of the head between
21st Drive and Shore Parkway at
5:30 p.m., before the other perps
threw him to the floor and continued
to wailing on him, taking
$3 and other valuables, according
to police.
Jewel swap
Two thieves snatched an 83-
year-old man’s jewelry from their
car on W. Fourth Street on Aug.
2.
The victim said that the two
crooks in an SUV approached
him on the corner of W. Fourth
Street and O Avenue at 5:40 p.m.,
when they asked him if he wanted
to buy jewelry off them.
The faux jewelry vendors then
removed two of the victim’s rings
as they slipped some of their merchandise
onto him, before driving
off with his valuables, cops
said.

Check bounced
A would-be bandit attempted
to rob a Fourth Avenue checkcashing
business on Aug. 4.
The store employee told police
that she was working at the front
desk of the quasi-bank between
52nd and 53rd streets at around
10 a.m., when the robber slid her
a note, which read “Listen lady
need $3,000 fast. Only $100 dollar
bills. No dye packs and if not fast
I shoot.”
The store employee then ran
away towards the back of the
store, causing the perp to f lee the
store empty handed, cops said.
Soda-popped!
A bruiser assaulted a man
with a plastic soda bottle on Fort
Hamilton Parkway on Aug. 3.
The victim told police that he
began arguing with the perp between
McDonald Avenue and E.
Second Street at around 3 p.m.,
when the goon punched him in
the face, and threw the 20 ounce
soda bottle at him, cops said.
Sunset Heist
A burglar looted a Fifth Avenue
storefront on July 30.
The store owner told police
that the crook threw a brick
through the window of the vacant
store near 58th Street at
around 4:30 a.m., before nabbing
$100 from the cash register, cops
said.
Rough night
A thief robbed a sleeping man
on 56th Street on July 30.
The victim told police that
he fell asleep on the front steps
of his home between Fifth and
Sixth Avenues, when the crook
stole his wallet and cell phone at
around 5:10 a.m., cops said.
Bike bandit
A criminal stole an E-Bike on
44th Street on July 30.
The victim told police that
he left battery-powered bike unlocked
between Sixth and Seventh
avenues at around 3 a.m.,
when the sneak snatched it and
zoomed off, cops said.
Cash grab
A prowler robbed a 43rd Street
store on July 29.
The victim told police that the
perp entered the store’s parent
business plaza near 50th Street
through an unlocked door at
around 8:30 a.m. before breaking
the lock on the retail space on the
building’s fourth f loor and stealing
$2,000 in cash and a laptop,
cops said.
Beat
Three crooks robbed a man on
49th Street on Aug. 5.
The victim told police that he
was walking between Third and
Fourth avenues when the marauders
approached and hit him
in the back of the head shortly
before 3 p.m. Once the victim fell
to the f loor, the raiders stole his
cellphone, wallet, and backpack,
cops said.
