A thief stole a man’s phone off
him at an Avenue U department
store on June 15.
The victim told police he felt jostled
standing in line to check out at
the store near Flatbush Avenue at 7
p.m., only to discover later that his
phone was stolen, cops said.
A location app traced the phone
to Long Island City, Queens, cops
said.
Shopping spree
Cops arrested a man who allegedly
tried to steal merchandise
from a department store on Avenue
U on June 21.
An employee told police the suspect
grabbed $1,297 worth of stuff
around 6:30 p.m., before attempting
to fl ee the store near East 29 Street
and Nostrand Avenue.
Bad credit
A thief looted a man’s car on
New York Avenue on June 22, taking
credit cards.
The crook broke through a passenger
side window and took the
victims cards from the middle
counsel at around 2:30 p.m., before
fl eeing the scene on foot, according
to authorities.
The fi end later made purchases
at Best Buy, Foot Locker and Apple
using the victim’s cards, cops said.
Tool time
Two crooks ransacked a man’s
car on East 34 Street on June 17,
nabbing $4,000 worth of tools.
The thieves entered the vehicle
parked near Avenue R through the
trunk at sometime after 3:35 p.m.,
said the cops.

Bad breakup
Cops arrested a 31-year-old man
accused of beating his ex-girlfriend,
while ignoring a court order of protection
on Surf Avenue on May 27.
The victim told police her former
fl ame grabbed her purse near
Stillwell Avenue at 6 p.m., before
slapping her and knocking her to
the ground.
Weak thief!
Cops busted a man for allegedly
taking a man’s cell phone at
the Surf Avenue subway station on
June 17.
A witness told police that the
crook nabbed a phone off the victim
at the station near Still Avenue
at 1:39 p.m.
Responding offi cers followed the
suspect to MCU Park, where they
cuffed him for felony larceny, cops
said.
Rude awakening
A punk robbed a sleeping man
on a Coney Island bound N train on
June 14th.
The victim told police he
boarded the train at Herald Square
and before dozing off, only to awake
to discover his front right pocket
had been cut and his cellphone was
missing at around 1:30 p.m.
When the victim attempted to
track his phone he saw that it was
at a bodega near Lincoln Road and
Maypickett Avenue.

Three fi ends robbed a young
man on E. 22nd Street on June 22.
The victim told police the three
men approached him near Avenue
U at 5 p.m., when one of the crooks
pointed a gun at the victim before
taking his phone, wallet and headphones.
Scaredy thief
Cops arrested a man for
alledgedly breaking into a Kings
Highway apartment on June 20.
The victim told police that she
heard the door of her apartment
near E. Fifth Street being jostled at
around 8:45 p.m., when a man suddenly
burst threw, only to then run
away upon noticing the woman.

Workplace dispute
A brute smashed his ex-boss in
the head on 16th Avenue on June
19.
The victim told police that the
bruiser hit him in the back of the
head in an attempt to steal his
phone, knocking him to the ground
on the corner of 16th Avenue and
64th Street at 6:25 a.m. As the victim
was falling, he recognized the
goon as his employee from two
years before, authorities said. Cops
reported that the brute fl ed in a red
Ford without stealing anything,
and that the victim suffered a bump
to his head.
Bad deposit
A marauder punched the manager
of a convenience store on 85th
Street on June 22, and stole $10,000
that the employee was going to deposit.
The employee told cops that the
brute struck him in the head at
11:55 a.m. after he exited his car on
the corner of 24th Avenue and 85th
Street, where he was going to make
a deposit for work. The robber then
forced the cash bag from his shoulder,
and fl ed in a car on 85th Street,
according to cops. The employee
was transported to Lutheran Hospital
for head pain, police report.
Garage sale
A man took $650 worth of electronics
from a resident’s garage on
78th Street on June 17.
The homeowner told police that
the lout entered his open garage between
16th and 17th avenues at 11:35
p.m., before nabbing his stuff.
Cellphone sniper
Two crooks stole a woman’s cellphone
on Bay Parkway on June 22.
The victim told cops that the
bandits approached her and began
a conversation on the corner
of Bay Parkway and 73rd Street at
9:55 p.m. before taking her iPhone.
The baddies then fl ed north on Bay
Parkway by foot, according to authorities.
Break-in bandit
A thief stole two iPads and a
cellphone from a house on Bay 22nd
street on June 23.
The victim told cops that she
put the electronics on her desk to
charge overnight at around midnight,
and the sneak thief climbed
through the side window between
86th Street and Benson Avenue
sometime later, before running off
with the devices, authorities report.

Sunset savage
A bruiser brutally robbed a man
on Fourth Avenue on June 18.
The victim told police he was
walking home from a bar between
39th and 40th streets when the
fi end approached at around 12:30
a.m., and repeatedly hit him in the
back of the head. After the victim
fell to the ground, the perp grabbed
his cellphone and wallet, before
running off, cops said.
Wallet weasel
A thief robbed a man on Seventh
Street on June 20.
The victim told police he was getting
out of his car between Greenwood
Avenue and Ocean Parkway
at around 6:15 p.m., when the crook
approached and demanded his wallet,
which the victim duly handed
over, cops said.
Window wastrel
Cops arrested two men for allegedly
burglarizing a 21st Street
store on June 23.
The suspects broke into the
store near Third Avenue by smashing
a second fl oor window at approximately
2 a.m. Once inside, the
men nabbed $3,450 worth of property,
cops said.
Police tracked down the suspects
later that day and charged
them with felony grand larceny.
