8. CHRISTMAS GRAND MARKET: A
CARIBBEAN CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION
This annual event returns in person to keep
alive the old, rural Jamaican Christmas
tradition, showcasing authentic folk forms

Festivities include Caribbean food, crafts
and gifts from local vendors, live music and
dancing, games, prizes and the Jonkanoo
parade, which celebrates the Caribbean’s
unique blend of African and European
