The road to academic success begins
at St. Sebastian Catholic Academy,
which serves the parishes of Queen of
Angels, BVM Help of Christians, St.
Teresa, and St. Sebastian.
Beginning in our Nursery program
for 3-year olds, children experience
basic academics, play skills, and
an introduction to Jesus. For children
turning 4 by December we have a
FREE PreK for All program.
Children have access to
indoor and outdoor play
spaces, receive a nourishing

breakfast and lunch,
and learn through play
experiences in the classrooms.

Children in grades Kindergarten
through 8 receive a
values-centered curriculum based
on the Next Generation Standards.
Students are immersed in an academically
challenging environment where
they develop spiritually, intellectually,
physically, and socially.
We offer additional learning experiences
including, library/media
skills, STEM, art, music, foreign language,
physical education, and health.
We have updated our network to support
the ever-evolving technology
in the academy. Our goal is to reach
1:1 technology access for students in
the classrooms. Many of our classrooms
already use iPads, laptops, and
Chromebooks and every classroom
has a Smartboard.
For students who need additional
support we have SETSS (special
education teacher support services),
Speech, Occupational
Therapy, and counseling.
We had to start this
year a little different than
in the past but we worked
hard to successfully accommodate
all students
for a full-time in-person
learning environment. Our
classrooms were rearranged to
maximize capacity limits, and we are
following all the DOHMH and CDC
guidelines for the health and safety of
everyone in our academy. We will continue
to do all we can to keep Catholic
education strong and prosperous.
