Young students excel under program
New York Edge students from
area schools gathered at the Marine
Air Terminal at LaGuardia Airport.
The occasion was the celebration of
Black History Month with artwork
and interpretive dance performances
to commemorate the pride, culture
and experiences of Afro Americans.
Visual tribute artwork by these
young women was outstanding
as well as the Stepping percussive
dance which captured the
eyes and ears of the guests.

Tony Vero exclaimed after seeing
the young women perform,
“ I saw confidence. Go out and
