JFK January GM
 Stakeholders meeting.
 2020 anguish; 2021 optimism
 BY JEFF YAPALATER
 JFK GM Charles Everett welcomed
everyone back for the first virtual
meeting of the new year citing
pride in the airport coming through
2020 with everyone’s help. He reported
 that Airport Workers are now
 eligible for Covid vaccine shots.
A GM Bulletin went out with guidance
for this eligibility under the 1b
 Transit Worker group. Reviewing
the bulletin Everett said there is limited
vaccine, and there may be long
waits to make a reservation and to
actually get a shot and that all this
 information in the bulletin.
 He said more information would
be shared when available and to have
any questions brought to the AOC or
 his office.
 Everett said that the priorities
 for JFK Airport management for
2021 will be shared in the February
meeting on February 10th and that
this meeting is the update on current
matters from across the JFK stakeholder
 community.
 FAA-Reported that there was a
high of 600 daily flights during the
holidays and expects 400-500 for the
next couple of months with more
in the summer as vaccines support
 more travel.
 CBP-Stated that there were few
 vaccines passing through JFK but
now mostly are domestic and CBP
not involved but promised to do everything
 to clear and expedite shipments

3 days before the flight and a report
must be made available upon entry to
the U.S. A=Working airline and cargo
crew are exempt. There will be quality
checks to make sure of compliance.
 TSA-It was announced that there
 would be a stakeholder’s meeting
soon. There is adequate funded and
staffing, they domestic volume is better
 but international slow, but the
agency is looking forward to a busy
 summer. Employees are being encourage
=d to get the vaccine and they will
soon be able to get the shots at the VA
 Center in Bayridge, Brooklyn..
PAPD-Crime is down a lot due to
the efforts of all agencies in reducing
 holiday theft.
There are homeless in the busses
due to Airtrain time closings but
they are being put back on the buses
 with few incidents. The department
is alert on potential activities for the
 Presidential Inauguration but no active
threats at the airport but keeping
