It’s time for another dose of
“A Blast from Brooklyn’s
Past!” In partnership with
Brooklyn Historical Society
(BHS), this series of photographs
illustrate our borough
over the decades via images
from the society’s vast collection
showcasing Brooklyn’s
diverse history.
In this installment, our
partners at BHS culled four
images that connect to the
theme of public health in
Brooklyn, the central topic
in their newly-opened exhibition,
“Taking Care of Brooklyn:
Stories of Sickness and
Health.” Take a guess as to
the location of each photo, and

the answers!
