Cops are looking for a Brooklyn
woman who allegedly
left a child tied up inside an
apartment in Ridgewood.
The 104th Precinct released a
fl yer on Twitter identifying the
suspect as Kayla Talbert, 26, whose
last known address is on Newkirk
Avenue in Brooklyn.
According to the fl yer, the incident
took place on June 12 at approximately
5 p.m. inside a residence on Myrtle
Avenue near Fresh Pond Road. The
suspect reportedly tied the hands
and feet of a 6-year-old child and left
the child inside the residence alone.
Sources familiar with the investigation
added that the child had been
left in Talbert's care while the child's
parents were away; they would later
report the incident to police.
The exact relationship of Talbert
to the child was not immediately
clear, authorities said.
Police described Talbert as as a
black woman standing approximately
5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighing
160 pounds, with brown eyes.
Anyone with information
