Cops search for duo
in violent assault at
Queens Center Mall
Two men are wanted for
questioning after a man was stabbed
during a gang assault outside of a
mall in Elmhurst.
According to authorities, at 4:15
p.m. on March 8, an 18-year-old
man was outside the Queens Center
Mall when he was approached by
several men.
The men pushed him to the ground
and began to punch and kick the
victim, causing bruising and pain.
The victim was also stabbed once in
the right side of his back, which caused
non-life threatening injuries.
Following the attack, 18-year-old
Angel Seda was taken into custody and
charged with gang assault, assault,
criminal possession of a weapon
and disorderly conduct. The other
assailants remain at large.

Detective Squad at (718) 476-9317. The
investigation was ongoing.
That same day, reports say that
rapper “A Boogie wit da Hoodie,”
whose real name is Julius Dubose, held
a wristband-only event at the Puma
store inside the Queens Center Mall.
The event drew a large crowd and a
fight broke out within the crowd.
The event was ultimately shut down
by police. At this time, it is unclear if
the two incidents are connected.

Astoria
Man fires gun outside Astoria hookah shop
Cops were looking for a man who
fired a shot into the air outside of an
Astoria pizza and hookah shop.
It was reported to police that at 12:50
a.m. on March 18, an unknown man was
outside of The Smoking Pie, located at
25-94 Steinway St., when he fired a shot
into the air.
The suspect then fled the scene on
foot southbound on Steinway Street.
No injuries were reported as a result of
the incident, which was reported to the
114th Precinct.
Police described the suspect as a
black man between the ages of 20 to 30
who was last seen wearing a black knit
cap, a black hooded sweater, a red coat,
and red and black sneakers.

Various weapons seized in Ozone Park raid
Cops found a cache of deadly
weapons — including an assault rifle
of the same caliber used in recent mass
shootings — inside an Ozone Park
home during a raid last week.
Members of the 106th Precinct and
its Field Intelligence Unit executed
a search warrant at a home on 87th
Street near 105th Avenue at 6 a.m. on
March 13. Law enforcement sources
said the warrant was obtained as part
of an ongoing drug sale investigation.
Police said that two men were at the
residence during the raid: Daniel Saniel,
27, and Christian Zitti, 48. According to
sources familiar with the investigation,
police learned that the suspects were
allegedly tied to narcotic sales, and were
likely in possession of a firearm.
During the search, authorities said,
officers found a .233 caliber AR-15. It’s
similar to the weapon of choice used
by the gunmen responsible for recent
massacres across the United States,
including in Parkland, Florida and
Pittsburgh last year.
Officers also seized from the Ozone
Park home numerous swords and
machetes, as well as a bb gun. Cops also
found a small quantity of marijuana.
Saniel and Zitti were arrested and
charged with criminal possession
of a weapon, criminal possession of
a loaded firearm, criminal use of
drug paraphernalia and unlawful
possession of marijuana.

112th Precinct
Rego Park
Two sought in failed Rego Park burglary
Cops were looking for a pair of
would-be burglars who were caught in
the act by a Rego Park homeowner and
chased off the property.
Two unknown men broke into a
residence in the vicinity of Saunders
Street and 66th Avenue on March 15 at
12:25 p.m., according to police. Shortly
afterward, the homeowner confronted
the burglars, according to authorities.
Law enforcement sources said the
homeowner chased the suspects, who
are described as men dressed in black
clothing, out of the house before they
could take anything.
There were no reported injuries as
a result of the incident.
The homeowner caught the entire
incident on a cellphone camera, and
provided the footage to the 112th
Precinct.
