 Lunar New Year Parade —  
 Every year Flushing hosts  
 a Lunar New Year Parade.  
 The event features brightly  
 colored fl oats, steel drummers,  
 fi recrackers and dragon  
 dancers. The day will begin with  
 coffee and donuts as a warmup  
 reception for attendees at  
 the Great Flushing Chamber  
 of Commerce.  Hosted by the  
 Flushing Chinese Business  
 Association (FCBA) and the  
 Korean American Association  
 of Queens (KAAQ), the parade  
 will commence on Union Street  
 and 37th Avenue in Flushing.

 Queens Botanical Garden will

 place artwork, “side-by-side to  
 generate a compelling dialog,  
 weaving together various  
 themes of expression to create  
 a visual synergy that enhances  
 and augments the messaging.”
