Jamaica celebrates the season at a tree lighting Children of all ages got into the holiday spirit in downtown Jamaica on Saturday, Dec. 10. Youngsters enjoyed a special holiday workshop held at Grace Episcopal Church before attending a tree lighting at nearby King Manor Park. The event was co-sponsored by the Greater Jamaica Development Corporation, King Manor, South Jamaica Reads, the Cultural Collaborative of Jamaica, the Partnership for Parks and the Jamaica Center Business Improvement District.
