Hosted by Springfield Park volunteers and Office of Council Member Donovan Richards, the annual tree lighting will have student carolers and fun giveaways. Teens are invited to join after school to make holiday crafts and gifts from 2:45 to 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 13. Participants will make ornaments, ceramics, crazy crayons, jewelry and more. Long Island City Library is located at 37-44 21st St. Rufus King Park Tree Lighting and Caroling Event @ Rufus King Park. Join Rufus King Park for the annual tree lighting, Christmas carolers and indoor activities at Grace Church beginning at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10.
