the stars for free! NYC
Parks and the New York City
Mayor’s Office of Media and
Entertainment are partnering
to show “A Wrinkle in Time,”
the 2018 movie based on
the classic book. This event is
from 6:15 to 8:15 p.m. Make
sure to arrive early to get a
good seat. The movie will be
shown at the Lost Battalion
Hall Recreation Center, 93-29
Queens Blvd., Rego Park.

dance performances

“Composites,” a series
of abstract dances based on

LDC at their sixth
annual Holiday Festival
and Tree Lighting
Celebration! There will be
live music, train rides, face
painting, candy apples and
more starting at 2 p.m. The
tree lighting will be at 5 p.m.
This event is on the Great
Lawn at Astoria Park at 19th
Street and 23rd Avenue.
10 Gathering Time
with be performing
their concert A Night To
Remember at the Hillcrest
Jewish Center. The folk-rock
trio will be singing songs
from legendary Jewish artists
such as Bob Dylan and Billy
Joel. Tickets are $25 for open
seating, $36 for reserved
seats, $15 for teens ages 13
to 18 and free for children
