for breaking news visit www.qns.com november 24, 2016 • The Queens Courier 13 These cops are honored in Richmond Hill for robbery arrest For catching two armed robbers, three members of the 102nd Precinct were honored as Cops of the Month during the 102nd Precinct Community Council meeting in Richmond Hill on Nov. 15. Sergeant Powell and Police Officers Maisch and Contreras arrested two individuals on Oct. 29 for committing a robbery. One of the suspects was found in possession of a handgun, while the other had a large knife. Deputy Inspector Deodat Urprasad, the precinct’s commander, joined Assemblyman Mike Miller and Precinct Council members in presenting the officers with plaques donated by the Ridgewood Times, a sister paper of the Courier Sun.
