OPERATION CR DONATES 2,171 CANS ONLY $$15
TO HELP HUNGRY CHILDREN!
The Champions Martial Arts
franchise has always emphasized giving and serving its
community, in whatever way possible.
Champions Martial Arts International has collaborated with Operation Child
Rescue (aka Operation CR), a nonprofit organization providing resources to
children worldwide. Operation CR has a firm commitment to making a
difference in the issues children face in the world, especially, helping fight
child hunger locally and globally. Champions Martial Arts International joined
with Operation CR and Operation Food: a local canned/boxed food drive held all
over New York City.
Champions Martial Arts schools have volunteered to be donation centers
for the food items. The Queens region of Champions Martial Arts alone
including Bayside, Flushing, College Point, Maspeth, Ozone Park, and Little
Neck (Pictured above), collected 2,171 canned/boxed foods. The foods chosen
will be donated to the Food Bank for New York City, to help feed the five (5)
boroughs, through food pantries and soup kitchens. The Food Bank of NYC
helps feed hundreds of thousands of children each year.
Focusing on just feeding one child at a time, Champions Martial Arts and
Operation CR were able to provide for thousands of individuals this holiday
season and plan to do even more next Thanksgiving
