Officers in the 102nd Precinct were notified of the unconscious and unresponsive man at approximately 10 p.m. EMS responding to the scene pronounced the victim dead; his body was transported to the medical examiner’s office to determine the identity and cause of death. The man has not yet been identified by authorities, and police would not disclose where in the park he was found. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing. 103rd Precinct Jamaica, Hollis Man wanted for fatally shooting victim in the face in Jamaica Police are looking for a suspect in last month’s murder of a Jamaica man who was shot twice in the face at a neighborhood intersection. On Oct. 17 at 12:09 p.m., officers from the 103rd Precinct responded to a 911 call of a man shot at the corner of 107th Avenue and 164th Street. When they arrived, police found 32-year-old Robert Hale unconscious and unresponsive with two gunshot wounds to his face, authorities said. Emergency personnel responded and pronounced Hale dead at the scene at 12:15 p.m. that day. Police have released surveillance photos of the suspect wanted in the case. He is described as last seen wearing a blue button-up jacket over a green hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and dark shoes. Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS. 104th Precinct Ridgewood, Glendale, Middle Village, Maspeth Masked gunmen tie up clerks, steal meds from pharmacy in Glendale Three bandits donning masks and dressed in black clothing came calling to a Glendale pharmacy on Nov. 3, tying up two workers and stealing quantities of prescription drugs, according to police. Authorities said the robbery occurred at 12:48 p.m. at the Trinity Rx Pharmacy located at 75-21 Myrtle Ave. Reportedly, the three perpetrators — all of whom wore black sweaters, pants and sneakers — walked into the location. One of the suspects, police said, pulled out a black firearm, while his two cohorts jumped over the pharmacy counter, confronted male employees and presented a note demanding controlled prescription drugs. After the employees complied with the demand, authorities noted, the crooks then restrained the employees with cable ties and removed their wallets, each of which contained credit cards. The bandits then fled the store and were last seen heading westbound on Myrtle Avenue. Neither of the workers were injured. Anyone with information regarding the robbery or the suspects’ whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS. 105th Precinct Queens Village, Cambria Heights, Laurelton, Rosedale, Springfield Gardens, Bellerose Second victim in Rosedale Halloween shooting dies The second teen who was shot in Rosedale on Halloween night succumbed to his injuries on Nov. 4 at Jamaica Hospital, according to authorities. Marcus Mendez, 18, was shot in the leg and torso on Oct. 31 at 240-15 144th Ave.in Rosedale. Police found Mendez and 19-year-old Peyton Manwaring at the scene after responding to a call of two males shot at about 8:53 p.m. Both teens were taken to Jamaica Hospital, where Manwaring— who was shot in the torso— was pronounced dead the night of the incident. On Nov. 2, the NYPD released photos of two men they are looking to question in regards to the shooting. Both suspects were last seen wearing black hooded sweatshirts and through surveillance video were observed to be following the victim immediately before the shooting. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS. 106th Precinct Ozone Park, Howard Beach 90-year-old man dies in Howard Beach home fire An elderly man died early in the morning of Nov. 10 in a fire at his Howard Beach home, according to authorities. The fire broke out before 4:06 a.m. at an apartment house on 88th Street off 155th Avenue. Multiple Fire Department units and officers from the 106th Precinct responded to 911 calls about the blaze. After extinguishing the one-alarm fire, police said, firefighters found 90-year-old Leonard Manzo unconscious and unresponsive in his first-floor apartment, cops said. Emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported the man to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
