Three teens charged for
assault against senior
man in Cambria Heights
Cops arrested three teenagers this week
in connection with the assault on a senior
man outside of the Cambria Heights
Library.
Following an ongoing investigation,
Nyziere Lodge, 18, and a 15-year-old boy,
whose identity is being withheld due to
his age, were arrested on Oct. 29. Lodge
and the 15-year-old were charged with
gang assault, and Lodge was also charged
with disorderly conduct.
Another 14-year-old boy turned himself
in for his role in the crime on Oct. 31
and was charged with gang assault and
disorderly conduct.
According to police, at 11:15 a.m. on
Oct. 10, the suspects chased a 79-yearold
man in front of the Queens Public
Library’s Cambria Heights branch, located
at 218-13 Linden Blvd., and began to
punch and kick the victim in the face and
ribs. Th e incident was caught on video
and released by the NYPD on Oct. 29.
Th e victim suff ered a broken femur and
ribs as a result of the incident.

Cops seek two in violent
Fresh Meadows robbery
Two suspects remain at large following
a violent robbery that took place in
Fresh Meadows in September.
A 16-year-old girl was walking home
from school at 2 p.m. on Sept. 26
in front of 160-17 Horace Harding
Expressway when she was approached
by several teenagers who punch and
kick her, causing her to fall to the
ground, according to authorities. The
suspects proceeded to take the victim’s
cellphone, AirPods and $30 in cash
before fleeing the scene in an unknown
direction.
The victim suffered minor bruising
and pain, but refused medical attention
at the scene.
Following an ongoing investigation,
police arrested two teenagers — a
15-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl
— in October and charged them with
assault and robbery. Their identities are
being withheld due to their age.
On Nov. 4, police released images of
the remaining suspects, identified as a
male and female.

Off -duty FDNY man
cuff ed for drunk driving
Cops arrested an off -duty FDNY
employee on Sunday morning for
allegedly crashing into another car while
driving under the infl uence in Jamaica,
according to authorities.
Police said 25-year-old Latchman
Teelah was allegedly operating his car at
a high rate of speed and was reportedly
weaving in and out of traffi c at around
3:15 a.m. on Nov. 3. Teelah then allegedly
crashed into a car at the intersection of
Jamaica Avenue and 179th Street.
Sources familiar with the investigation
said that Teelah allegedly tried to
fl ee the scene on foot, but was quickly
apprehended by police. Th e other driver
suff ered minor injuries as a result of
the collision.
Teelah was charged with driving while
intoxicated, leaving the scene of an accident,
and refusal to take a breathalyzer
test.

Man snatches woman’s
phone in Astoria
Cops are looking for a man who
snatched a woman’s cellphone while she
waited for her Uber in Astoria last week.
Police said a 46-year-old woman was
standing at the corner of 14th Street and
31st Avenue tracking her Uber ride with
her phone at 9:45 a.m. on Oct. 28. While
she was standing there, an unknown
man approached her snatched the phone
out of her had and ran away.
On Nov. 3, the NYPD released video
of the suspect fl eeing the scene, available
on QNS.com.
