PIRATES The Flushing Red Devils lost 26-9 at the hands of the Tottenville Pirates. The Red Devils and the Pirates were virtually even in terms of offensive yards, with the Red Devils having a total of 291 offensive yards compared to the Pirates’ 296 yards. Red Devils senior Terrence Chavis struggled, throwing two interceptions while completing just fi ve of 11 passes. On the ground, Chavis led the team with 112 yards on 10 attempts. Senior Demetrie Narcisse rushed for the Red Devils’ only touchdown, rushing for 67 yards on three attempts. For the Pirates, three players scored touchdowns. Senior Javanughn Wright had a game high 127 rushing yards on 10 carries, while seniors Luis Perea and Joshua Rainy had 62 and 97 yards, respectively. The Red Devils will face the Campus Magnet Bull Dogs in the fi nal game of the regular season. BULL DOGS VS. DOLPHINS This team isn’t the underdog. The Bull Dogs beat the Beach Channel Dolphins in their last game by a score of 18-12. The Bull Dogs had a total of 174 offensive yards. Junior quarterback Que Ruan Mosby completed two of three passes, good for 31 yards, a touchdown and an interception. On the ground, junior Bryan Mariner rushed for 84 yards and a touchdown on 16 attempts. BEAVERS VS. KNIGHTS The Jamaica Beavers defeated the Franklin K. Lane Knights by a score of 14-6. The Beavers had a total of 163 offensive yards, while the Knights had a total of 130 offensive yards. For the Beavers sophomore Garfi eld McDonald was the offensive star. McDonald rushed for 120 yards and two touchdowns on 18 attempts. For the Knights senior Jasier Cepeda Anderson led the team with 55 yards and a touchdown on fi ve attempts. SPARTANS VS. EAGLE The John Adams Spartans speared the Springfi eld Garden Golden Eagle by a score of 14-0. The Spartans had a total of 167 offensive yards, with 102 coming on the ground. Junior quarterback Bruno Teran completed four of six passes good for 65 yards and a touchdown. Junior Errol James rushed for a touchdown, in addition to rushing for 37 yards on 14 attempts.
