Woman pummels commuter at
Jackson Heights train station
Cops are looking for a woman who
attacked a fellow commuter while changing
trains in Jackson Heights earlier this
month.
According to police, at 3:15 p.m. on
Sept. 10, a 67-year-old woman was inside
the Roosevelt Avenue—Jackson Heights
subway station. As she was changing
trains, she got into a dispute with an
unknown woman.
Th e dispute escalated, and the unknown
woman proceeded to punch the victim
multiple times in the face before fl eeing
the scene. At this time, it is not immediately
clear what started the argument
between the suspect and the victim.
Th e victim sustained bruising to her face
as a result of the attack. EMS responded to
the location, however the victim refused
medical attention at the scene.
On Sept. 25, the NYPD released a photo
of the suspect.

Drive-by shooting in St.
Albans injures three
Th e NYPD is investigating a drive-by
shooting that left three men injured in St.
Albans on Sunday night.
Police responded to a 911 call regarding
three men shot outside of a residence
on Mangin Avenue near Hannibal Street
at 8:17 p.m. on Sept. 22. Upon their arrival,
offi cers from the 113th Precinct found
three men with gunshot wounds — a
25-year-old victim was shot in the left
arm, a 22-year-old victim had been shot
in the hip and a 23-year-old victim was hit
in the lower back.
A preliminary investigation found that
a white sedan pulled up to where the three
men were standing and opened fi re.
EMS rushed the victims to Jamaica
Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
No arrests have been made at this time
and the investigation is ongoing.

Cops seek suspect in
Murray Hill robbery
Cops are searching for a suspect wanted
in connection with a Sunday morning
robbery in Murray Hill.
According to authorities, a 63-yearold
man was walking in the vicinity of
Sanford Avenue and 159th Street just
before 1 a.m. on Sept. 22 when he was
approached by an unidentifi ed man. Th e
suspect then attempted to remove the
victim’s cell phone and punched him in
the face when the man refused.
Th e perpetrator then fl ed westbound
on Sanford Avenue with $300, credit
cards and the victim’s cell phone.
EMS arrived at the scene and transported
the victim to Flushing Hospital
Medical Center in stable condition.

Jackson Heights stabbing
leaves two injured
Cops are investigating a stabbing in
Jackson Heights that left two people
injured early Monday morning.
Police responded to a 911 call regarding
an assault in progress at 78-14
Roosevelt Ave.at 4:01 a.m. on Sept.
23. Upon their arrival, police found
a 20-year-old man with multiple stab
wounds to the torso and a 26-year-old
woman with stab wounds to her back
and chest.
Sources familiar with the investigation
said that the victims had been injured in
a larger fi ght at the location.
EMS rushed both NYC Health +
Hospitals/Elmhurst, where the male victim
is in critical condition. Th e female
victim is in stable condition.
No arrests have been made at this time
and the investigation is ongoing.
