The incident occurred at 4:12 a.m. on the morning of Aug. 12 in the vicinity of 130th Street and 90th Avenue, near the Rain nightclub. According to authorities, the two suspects pulled out handguns and fired a number of shots into the air before fleeing the scene. No injuries were reported as a result of the gunfire. The incident was later reported to the 102nd Precinct. Police described one of the suspects as a black man in his 30s who was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, dark-colored pants and white sneakers. His accomplice was a black woman in her 30s last seen wearing a dark-colored shirt and carrying a black purse. Woodhaven home invader roughed up woman and locked her in a closet Detectives continue to search for the robber who invaded a Woodhaven home last month, attacked a female resident and detained her in a closet while he stole her property. Police said the robbery occurred at 8:20 a.m. on Aug. 19 at a home in the vicinity of Forest Parkway and 85th Avenue. According to authorities, the perpetrator — described as a white male standing 6 foot 2 inches tall, weighing 200 pounds with black eyes and a light complexion while wearing blue jeans, a black skull cap and a white camouflage T-shirt — entered the home through an unlocked backyard door. Once inside, law enforcement sources noted, he confronted the 77-year-old female victim in her kitchen. He wrapped his arm around her neck, held a knife to her chest, escorted her to a second-floor bedroom and placed her in a closet. Police said the suspect then removed an assortment of jewelry and an unspecified amount of cash before fleeing on foot in an unknown direction. Officers from the 102nd Precinct responded to the incident. The woman was not seriously injured. All calls and messages are kept confidential. 104th Precinct Ridgewood, Glendale, Maspeth, Middle Village Three suspects wanted for stealing valuables from Ridgewood pharmacies Police officers are scouring the streets of Ridgewood in search of three suspects wanted for pilfering three pharmacies throughout the neighborhood on four separate occasions dating back to June. According to police, the trio first struck the Rite Aid Pharmacy located at 583 Grandview Ave. on June 23, at 8 p.m., where they removed miscellaneous items and Sony headphones from the store. On the same day, at 8:40 p.m., the suspects removed assorted over the counter medication at Walgreens Pharmacy, located at 57-11 Myrtle Ave., cops said. Officers reported that at 7:05 p.m. on July 17, the crooks entered the Rite Aid Pharmacy located at 60-36 Myrtle Ave. where they proceeded to remove assorted over the counter medications, Craig speakers, Gillette razors, and Enfamil baby formula from a restricted area within the store. Finally, at 6 p.m. on Aug. 16, the unknown individuals removed various medicinal products from the same Rite Aid Pharmacy located at 60-36 Myrtle Ave. The 104th Precinct responded to each incident. Cops were able to obtain surveillance footage of the three suspects from camera footage from the most recent caper. The first suspect has been described as a black male, 18- to 22-years-old, and last seen wearing a white colored T-shirt, and gray pants; the second suspect was described as a black male, 18- to 22-years-old, and was last seen wearing a black colored T-shirt, and beige shorts. The final suspect was also described as a black male, 18- to 22-years-old, and last seen wearing a gray colored T-shirt, and black pants. Man tries to kidnap 11-year-old at Arthur Ashe Stadium Police are looking for a man who attempted to kidnap an 11-year-old girl while she watched a tennis game with her family for Arthur Ashe Kids Day at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on Aug. 27. At 3:45 p.m. on Aug. 27, authorities said, the girl was inside Arthur Ashe Stadium with family members when a man approached her from behind, grabbed her wrist and threatened to harm her if she did not follow him, police said. The victim pulled her arm away and kicked the suspect, who ran away. There were no injuries. The individual is described as a male, approximately 25 to 35 years old, about 200 pounds and standing at about 5 feet, 8 inches to 5 feet, 11 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a red shirt with stripes, khaki shorts, sunglasses and a tattoo with words on his right wrist. Police previously released a video of a man thought to be the suspect but have since ruled him out.
