CIMINO & CRISTABELLE TUMOLA 102ND PRECINCT Kew Gardens, Richmond Hill East, Richmond Hill, Woodhaven and the northern part of Ozone Park Seek suspects in robbery Police are asking for your help in locating the two suspects who are wanted in connection with a violent robbery. On Monday, July 29, in the vicinity of Jamaica Avenue and 134th Street, the victim, a 59-year-old Hispanic man, was approached by the suspects who demanded money. The victim handed over his cash and the suspects demanded more, but when the victim said he did not have any, he was punched in the face, causing him to fall and hit his head.  The suspects fled with the cash and the victim’s cell phone. The victim was taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in stable condition. Suspect number one is described as a black male in his 20s, 5’9”-5’10” tall, last seen wearing a black skull cap, black T-shirt and black pants. The second suspect is also a black man in his 20s, 5’9”-5’10” tall, last seen wearing dark pants and a button-down shirt. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS 103RD PRECINCT Downtown Jamaica Business District, Hollis Park Gardens, Hollis, Lakewood and Jamaica Arrests in murder On Saturday, August 3, police responded to a call of two men shot in front of 89-32 163rd Street. Upon arrival, officers observed the first victim, a 33-year-old Hispanic man, with a gunshot wound to the chest, and the other victim, 32, with a gunshot wound to the ankle. Both were taken by EMS to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center where the first man, identified as Martin Delrosario, was pronounced dead and the second victim was listed in stable condition. Following an investigation, two men, Edwin Fernandez and Brunildo Guichardo, were arrested and charged with murder, criminal possession of a weapon and assault. 105TH PRECINCT Queens Village, Cambria Heights, Laurelton, Rosedale, Springfield Gardens, Bellerose, Glen Oaks, New Hyde Park and Floral Park Man killed by bus On Sunday, August 11, police responded to a 9-1-1 call of a pedestrian struck on Rockaway Boulevard near 1st Street. Upon arrival, officers observed 65-year-old Kenneth Yard unconscious and unresponsive, lying on the roadway. EMS also responded to the location and took Yard to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. Further investigation revealed that Yard was attempting to cross Rockaway Boulevard when he was struck by an MTA bus, which was traveling northbound on Rockaway Boulevard. The operator of the bus remained on the scene, but was not charged since reports claim that Yard intentionally leaped in front of the bus. 114TH PRECINCT Astoria, Long Island City, Woodside and Jackson Heights Suspects trick, rob elderly Astoria woman Police are looking for two men who fooled a 79-year-old woman into letting them into her apartment and then robbed her. The suspects approached the victim in Astoria around 1 p.m. on Thursday, August 1 and told her they needed to enter her apartment to check the electricity, said cops. Once inside the woman’s home, one of the men looked at the outlets, while the other took her cash and jewelry, and then they fled. Both suspects are white. One is in his 40s and the other is 25 years old. Their vehicle is described as a silver Volkswagen. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS. Unauthorized credit card use The NYPS is asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the suspect wanted for using a woman’s credit card without authorization. On Thursday, August 8, the female suspect used the victim’s credit card to make unauthorized purchases at a McDonalds located at 480 3rd Avenue, Manhattan. Suspects take off with Astoria delivery man’s cash, Chinese food Stealing can sure work up an appetite. Police are looking for three men who allegedly robbed a delivery man at gunpoint in Astoria last week, taking off with his money, electric bike and Chinese food. The theft occurred in front of 27-16 12th Street, said cops. No injuries were reported. Suspect one was wearing a white shirt and black durag, suspect two was wearing a black shirt and suspect three was wearing a black shirt, said police. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS. 115TH PRECINCT East Elmhurst, North Corona and Jackson Heights 25-year-old killed in Jackson Heights hit-and-run Police are looking for a driver who struck and killed a 25-year-old in Jackson Heights early Monday morning, August 12. Manuel Campoverde was about six blocks from his home when a vehicle traveling in the eastbound lane of 34th Avenue hit him at Junction Boulevard around 2 a.m, then kept driving, according to authorities. Campoverde was taken to Elmhurst Hospital Center, where he was pronounced dead. A witness described the car as a small, black fourdoor sedan, driven by a male with a light complexion, said police. The investigation is ongoing. Suspects wanted in attempted robbery at Jackson Heights deli Police are looking for a man and woman in connection to an attempted robbery at a Jackson Heights deli. Last week, the two suspects entered Flor’s Deli, located at 94-01 Roosevelt Avenue. The female suspect distracted the store clerk while the male suspect went behind the counter, according the NYPD.   The male then displayed a knife while demanding money.
