Our Center of Excellence is known for its expertise and experience in professional training, patient education, research and patient-centered care. We take pride in caring for patients from all parts of the world. Here you’ll find not only physician visits based on the standard of care for diabetes care, but a dietician and certified diabetes nurse educator who provide classes to help our patients and their families improve their diet and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Our team focuses on the relationship between the patient, provider and educator to make sure that each of our patients receives the information and tools regarding proper meal planning, physical activity, glucose monitoring and use of medications to better manage their conditions at home. Since 2012, our Diabetes Center of Excellence has been participating in ground-breaking clinical trials with major pharmaceutical companies. We have participated in trials for patients with Type I and Type II diabetes and with patients who suffer from thyroid disease. Currently, we are seeking patients 18 years of age and over who have Type II Diabetes.
