As it does every September, the Glendale Kiwanis celebrated its presidents past, present and future during a gala in Howard Beach. 10 11 11. Every year, the Glendale Kiwanis Club holds an “Everyday Heroes” celebration in which club members recognize local residents who offer their volunteer services to make their community better. Assemblyman Mike Miller, a member of the Kiwanis Club, is among the event’s sponsors. 9 12 12. Kiwanians from across Queens took part in the Glendale Kiwanis presidents’ dinner last September in Howard Beach.
